As an energy fireplace, it is a mediocre Greek construction. It cannot be compared to imported fireplaces in any case. I bought it for 1850 euros. Initially, I used wet wood and noticed that the internal metals, the grate, etc., rusted. Unacceptable. It does not have automatic opening by lifting the door, so I forget to open the damper when I lift it and the house gets smoky. I had a Norwegian fireplace that had all these features automatically. Pure cast iron, crazy efficiency, top quality and paint, the Norwegian had it all. This Greek fireplace is what we call scrap metal. Greek foundries. The imported ones are factories with studies and quality. Greek metals are scrap. You get what you pay for. My house is new with the best insulation, 85 sqm. The heat it produces is like an oven. I can say it is very efficient. It is an apartment in the city. I don't know how it would perform in a house in a village with low temperatures. It produces enough hot air. It covers well. It is not a convection fireplace like the Norwegian one I had, which released heat naturally without opening the fan. I am tired of this specific thermostat, I have to constantly adjust the fan speed. In automatic mode, it doesn't work properly, it selects high speed and the fireplace and the house get cold. They couldn't give me information about the thermostat's operation. Thank goodness the installer knew how the thermostat works. It is a presentable fireplace. Good for its price. So far, everything is fine except for the paint, which is unacceptable. I burned 3 tons of wood. I was not satisfied with Mysailidis. The need to find a fireplace during that period made me buy this specific one. Elsewhere, where I went, they were much more expensive with longer delivery times.
