First of all, let me say that I come from Cherry MX red switches and the Corsair Vengeance K70 keyboard. The reason I changed keyboards is simply to give my peripherals a very good refresh. So, what did I gain and what did I lose:

What I gained:

- Silent switches
- Faster response
- Better typing feel
- Only one USB in the computer port
- RGB that syncs with the motherboard (Asus TUF) and mouse (Razer)
- Using only one app for peripherals (Synapse)
- Wrist rest cushion instead of a plastic bridge
- Lighter construction compared to the heavy metal (K70)
- Improved and visible multimedia keys
- Ability to purchase individual keys

What I lost:

- The click in typing (it had its charm)
- The wrist rest is magnetic and not permanently attached
- Rear USB port (although slow)
- Keyboard lighting settings (only for gaming keys)
- Gaming mode setting from the keyboard
- Different color gaming keys and other gaming features
- Key removal mechanism
- Ability to replace a faulty Cherry switch

And the reason I give it 5 stars is because as a keyboard, it offers 100% to someone who is getting something high-end for the first time, everything they need to play games. The details I mention about what I lost are for friends who had a mechanical keyboard and are planning to go for something completely different with the Huntsman v2.

Coming from the CK 104 inflictor that costs 35 euros, I don't think I can have a very objective opinion. It's like night and day. Of course, I had the CK 104 for 5 years, it was tired by now.

This one has linear switches. Completely silent. And soft like a pillow. It's like writing on clouds.

The feeling is amazing, like typing on a laptop with a very good keyboard but with much more depth.

For typing, it must be an excellent keyboard, and to be honest, the very strong click tired me after so many years. You can't even hear it. The only minimal noise comes from the keycaps.

One thing that bothered me before getting it was that I thought it was plastic, but the top surface is actually metal. Heavy keyboard. The overall feeling is amazing and the wristband immediately relieved my wrist.

Bought it for 155 euros. It still seems crazy to me that I paid 155 euros for a keyboard, but what can we do. And I don't think I paid for the Razer brand, and the competition for optical switches seems to be around the same price from what I saw.

A lot for a keyboard, no matter what.

But is it worth it? If you have the money to spare, maybe yes. If it lasts 10 years and works as it does now for the next 10 years, definitely. Will it work almost the same in 10 years? Maybe. Razer says their optical switches are rated for 100 million clicks. I hope it proves true in practice too!

It's still the first day, I'll come back if anything happens. 1st update.

Out of curiosity, I was browsing on AliExpress and just 4 switches for replacements cost 3.5 euros!! ... the more time passes, the more satisfied I am with the purchase.

A small negative, if you can call it that, after months of use, is that you can't rest your fingers on the keyboard if you have a heavy hand. Only just barely. The buttons are very sensitive, and even the slightest touch activates them. Like I said, it's like typing on a pillow.

No buyers remorse though. I used my old CK keyboard for a bit on another PC, and it felt fake. (when I first got it, I had only good things to say about it) Amazing feeling.

The evaluation takes place after 2-3 months of use.
Initially, let's say without the details that it is a 10/10 keyboard.

Now, onto the details. The keys are clearly a good upgrade from the previous Huntsman Elite and the feel is nice. As a user who prefers clicky switches, transitioning to linear was easy with this keyboard if that helps you.

Positives:
- It is one of the best keyboards on the market.
- The media switches are very user-friendly and better than the previous model.
- The switches currently have the same feel even after extensive use, despite it being for a few months, compared to other keyboards on the market where you can feel the key deteriorating.
- The wrist rest is really good, lightweight, very soft, and provides a nice feeling on the wrist without making your hand warm.

Negatives:
To be honest, so far I haven't found any negative comments to mention, which is why I gave it a rating of 10/10. Usually, there were some bugs with Synapse, etc., but it seems like everything has been resolved as I haven't had any issues these months.

If someone really wants a good keyboard, this should be their choice.

I am writing the following review as my first contact with the Razer keyboard:

Positives:
First of all, I am impressed with the sound of the MOBA switch click, slightly louder than the green ones, easier to press (we're talking 45 instead of 50 Cn). The difference is small, but due to the upgrade with silicone and stabilizers, the click is quite noticeable, whether you press something by mistake or not.
In terms of functionality, it is almost the same as regular mechanical keyboards, you don't notice a difference in usage or pressing, except that these specific ones have a stability in sound and are neither harder nor easier to press, with a slightly different sound...

The 8000 Hz polling rate is useful if you play with 6+ buttons simultaneously (e.g. old Lineage 2 or music in Fl studio) and you will hardly notice any differences if you had 1000 Hz before... it is noticeable because it doesn't have debounce delay.

6 key rollover if you have keyswitch optimization --> typing
N-key (infinite) rollover if you have keyswitch optimization --> gaming

Finally, PBT keycaps - good plastic that will probably last.

Sound dampening material inside the frame - makes it quieter if you press the keys forcefully against the frame.

Negatives:
At least for me, I couldn't fully operate it before downloading the 400Mb Synapse... after setting it up, I wanted to save my settings in the Onboard Profile, which I did, but as soon as I deleted Synapse, the keyboard suffered from Alzheimer's and forgot everything as if it didn't have onboard memory but instead had an online dependency on the software.
This annoyed me a bit because, in the end, the keyboard, although so nice, without the software, it's not even at 8000 Hz, and it doesn't work as you would like it to, independently. For example, if you want to open Razer Synapse every time with Windows and connect to Facebook, I already see a bad way to keep a simple setting to only have red lights!

The wrist rest doesn't have RGB.
The LED indicators are white.

Price... well, objectively it is expensive for what it offers, but it also has several innovations and new technologies that haven't matured yet. However, I would still recommend it as the quality is quite good.

In conclusion: A pretty good keyboard (if you want the software) that really has a lot of competition in this price range, but I believe the imperfections need a V3 to become perfect - that's why I didn't remove a star!
