I bought it in order to increase the pressure in my tap water, but it turned out to be completely unsuitable! The reason is that the water that remains inside the pump oxidizes after a few hours, so when you open the faucet, the first amount is yellow-brown due to oxidation. The product description states that the impeller is made of brass, but obviously the oxidation is caused by other elements that are simply iron. I literally wasted my money! Exactly for this reason, the manufacturer's manual explicitly states among other things "...the pump can only be used with water that is NOT for drinking at a later date"! It is very essential and serious that the merchant neglected to mention this property in the description so that the buyer knows if it is suitable for the desired use. So if you want it for drinking water, DO NOT buy it!
