I've had it for about 3 years, I took it for repair because it wasn't producing steam. They told me it can't be fixed because it had a water leak, burned the circuit board, and there are no spare parts! Stay away, if the circuit board burns out, it's over! + that sometimes it would produce rust

The boiler has a screw cap, to drain the water, for example, once a month and to clean it from the minerals. It is perhaps the only one with a 5-year factory warranty. The cheaper ones, around €120, are not worth it because they only have a 2-year warranty, a little steam, and a boiler in the iron plate. I had one like that, and after 2-3 years it broke down, and they told me the repair was not worth it (fault in the plate and circuit board).

Το μποιλερ έχει βιδωτη τάπα , για να αδειάζει το νερό πχ 1 φορά το μήνα και να καθαρίζει από τα άλατα. Είναι ίσως το μόνο με 5 χρόνια εργοστασιακή εγγύηση. Τα φθηνότερα των 120€ περίπου, δεν αξίζουν γιατί έχουν εγγύηση μόνο 2 χρόνια, λίγο ατμό και μποιλερ στην πλάκα του σίδερου. Ένα τέτοιο είχα και στα 2-3 χρόνια μου χάλασε, ασύμφορη η επισκευή του μου είπαν (βλάβη σε πλάκα και πλακέτα).

Update 01/12/24. The iron was not repaired, and they sent me a new one in September. After 3 months, the iron is leaving rust stains while ironing. Singer’s instruction was to use half demineralized water and half tap water.
update 19/10/26 (a little late) the rust the iron was leaving was because my dear mother-in-law was using scented demineralized water! So that was what caused the damage..after they cleaned it at the service center and we started using unscented demineralized water, it now works normally!

update 19/10/26 (λίγο καθυστερημένο) η σκουριά που έβγαζε το σίδερο ήταν γιατί η πεθερουλα μου έβαζε νερό απιονισμένο με άρωμα! Αυτό λοιπόν έκανε την ζημιά..αφου μας το καθαρίσανε στο σερβις και βάζουμε άοσμο απιονισμένο λειτουργεί πλεον κανονικά!

Ότι καλύτερο έχω πάρει σε σίδερο! Είναι λιγο ακριβή σε σχέση με όσα αγόραζα παλαιότερα αλλά αξίζει τα χρήματά του! που καλή απόδοση ατμού, πολύ καλό σύστημα καθαρισμού και γενικά είναι το δεξί μου χέρι επειδή σιδερωνω ποσότητες αλλά και σεντόνια- λευκά ήδη.
Amazing product. It is worth 100% of its price. It has a boiler at the base, behind the water tank. The boiler has a screw cap, to drain the water, for example, once a month and to clean it from the minerals. It is perhaps the only one with a 5-year factory warranty. The cheaper ones, around €120, are not worth it because they only have a 2-year warranty, a little steam, and a boiler in the iron plate. I had one like that, and after 2-3 years it broke down, and they told me the repair was not worth it (fault in the plate and circuit board).
Εκπληκτικό προϊόν. Αξίζει 100% τα χρήματα του. Έχει μποιλερ στη βάση, πίσω από τη δεξαμενή νερού. Το μποιλερ έχει βιδωτη τάπα , για να αδειάζει το νερό πχ 1 φορά το μήνα και να καθαρίζει από τα άλατα. Είναι ίσως το μόνο με 5 χρόνια εργοστασιακή εγγύηση. Τα φθηνότερα των 120€ περίπου, δεν αξίζουν γιατί έχουν εγγύηση μόνο 2 χρόνια, λίγο ατμό και μποιλερ στην πλάκα του σίδερου. Ένα τέτοιο είχα και στα 2-3 χρόνια μου χάλασε, ασύμφορη η επισκευή του μου είπαν (βλάβη σε πλάκα και πλακέτα).
After 7 months it stopped working and has been sent for repair...
Update 01/12/24. The iron was not repaired, and they sent me a new one in September. After 3 months, the iron is leaving rust stains while ironing. Singer’s instruction was to use half demineralized water and half tap water.
update 19/10/26 (a little late) the rust the iron was leaving was because my dear mother-in-law was using scented demineralized water! So that was what caused the damage..after they cleaned it at the service center and we started using unscented demineralized water, it now works normally!
Σε 7 μήνες σταμάτησε να λειτουργεί και έχει σταλεί για επισκευή...
Update 01/12/24. Το σίδερο δεν επισκευάστηκε και μου έστειλαν καινούργιο τον Σεπτέμβριο. Μετά από 3 μήνες το σίδερο βγάζει σκουριά την ώρα του σιδερώματος. Η οδηγία από την Singer ήταν το νερό να είναι μισό απιονισμένο και μισό βρύσης.
update 19/10/26 (λίγο καθυστερημένο) η σκουριά που έβγαζε το σίδερο ήταν γιατί η πεθερουλα μου έβαζε νερό απιονισμένο με άρωμα! Αυτό λοιπόν έκανε την ζημιά..αφου μας το καθαρίσανε στο σερβις και βάζουμε άοσμο απιονισμένο λειτουργεί πλεον κανονικά!
