Perfect picture in applications, lower resolution on terrestrial channels but it's normal and even though they have improved with HD, they still want more improvement to clean up. Satisfactory sound, user-friendly menu with many settings and I haven't explored all of them but the picture has improved quite a bit. It was purchased for €499 and I consider it perfect for its price!

I have had it for 3 months, on the 2nd month it started throwing me out of the YouTube and Netflix apps constantly, then it started restarting on its own and constantly disconnecting from the internet. I contacted the store where I bought it and they referred me to the ones who make TCL products in Greece. They told me to do a factory reset and usually that fixes the problem. I did the reset and now the TV doesn't even turn on (hahaha). I waited 24 days for them to tell me that the motherboard needs to be replaced and now I will wait again, I don't know how long, for them to bring the motherboard and replace it. Generally, if you have a warranty and don't pay, you go through all this. As a TV, as long as it worked, it was fantastic for movies in all aspects, but on the public channels it's like watching TV with a picture from 30 years ago.
Update: Total time for motherboard replacement from the day I reported the damage, 1 month and 12 days.

Purchased on 17/5/22 for €499, the 55" TV. I haven't had an Android TV before and it solved all my problems. I finally have Stremio and any other app I want directly on the TV. The picture is incredible, crystal clear, as long as you adjust it according to your own preferences, just like with any TV, and don't leave it with the factory settings. Connecting to wifi is effortless, as well as with my phone and wireless headphones. I highly recommend it and you won't be disappointed. Bravo TCL

Awesome picture especially if you tweak the settings a bit. Average sound. Feels like having a mi box with Android TV. Value for Money, definitely worth the 500 for the 55-inch

Sound is very good.
Android TV menu, good and equally fast as mi box s.
Viewing angles 0.
Color vibrancy is good for 500€, great for the case it was 350€, bad for the case of 700€ and above.

Good quality construction.

On Greek channels, it is bad, the upscaling is not the best.

If you want to spend up to 500€ for all-inclusive content (prime Netflix iptv), I think there is no other option.

Having an 8-year-old LG 47'' FHD LW5400 (incredible panel) and reading the reviews here, I decided to buy this specific TV. I also have a 4K subscription on Netflix, so I thought I would get a better picture. (I have 4K because five people in my household watch different things simultaneously, with an internet speed of 100Mbps and connected directly to the TV). I'm mentioning this for obvious reasons.
After a day of trying different settings, the TV is a COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT. I will return the TV tomorrow because it only causes pain.
The settings for this specific model were found through various forums, videos, and countless hours of changing parameters, without any success in improving the picture quality (obviously for 4K resolution with a 4K subscription on Netflix).
Oh, there is one good thing. If you want to use it for audio (the sound doesn't work, I was using it as a Bluetooth speaker), go ahead and buy it. It's fine.
Fortunately, I was able to return the TV and get my money back.
P.S. I bought this TV based on the reviews here and the excellent reviews on foreign websites praising its outstanding features. Perhaps this specific unit was defective. I didn't take the risk of exchanging it for the same model.
UPDATE 9/21/22
I have found the same TV in two hotels where I stay during my travels. SAME POOR QUALITY. I will not change my evaluation of this product, which ultimately was not defective.

What can I say about the television!!!
After a lot of searching for a decent television around 500 euros.
It was bought for 499 euros on offer.

TCL is an emerging brand, something like the Xiaomi of mobile phones, you pay for a product without the extra advertising of every brand like Samsung, LG, Sony, etc. (P.S.) The company is doing great in America!!

I have been amazed by the image, nice vibrant colors QLED, the ONKYO speakers have amazing sound, very powerful and with bass, I only reach 40/100 and it is already very loud!!! Android TV, Netflix works and Ertflix, games, etc...
The construction is great!!
The screen frame is minimal!!

It comes with 2 remotes, one specifically for the television and the other more internet-oriented with a microphone, buttons for Netflix, YouTube, etc.

55 inches, the perfect size for the living room! Don't regret later for buying a smaller size!
Buy it yesterday!

100% satisfied with my choice!!!

Very good VFM choice (although my panel has minor back light bleed). Its image is impressive in 4K and the Android menu is very convenient and customizable. It has a bit of lag in the menu if many apps are running in the background. The sound is awesome. Compared to simple LED UHD, QLEDs have a big difference in image/colors. A very good choice for movies on NETFLIX, etc. I didn't have any issues with national channels. I would recommend it

Excellent in everything. The only "negative" is that it has too many options in its image settings that you have to read in detail what each one does... Its colors are perfect, the sound is very good, powerful and clear.

Awesome picture, DOLBY VISION impeccable sound DOLBY ATMOS the only negative is that the hands-free/control microphone that you give voice commands with doesn't work, meaning the LED lights on the microphone don't turn on. Update on the previous comment, the TV wanted you to set the initial language to English in the settings, and the hands-free voice works perfectly with "ok Google" without pressing any buttons on the remote control. Everything is perfect!

I come from a 32-inch Toshiba that is 10 years old. I can't say that the picture is amazing; I expected more vibrant colors. The only difference I see is that the one I bought, which is 55 inches, is much bigger. For the offer I purchased it for, 470-80, it's okay (with the return offer)

Οι γωνίες είναι καλές, η φωτεινότητα έχει αρκετές ρυθμίσεις για να την φέρεις στο επίπεδο που θέλεις, στα αθλητικά για μένα ίσως χάνει λίγο στη ταχύτητα αλλά λογικά θέλει 120 χερτζ να έχεις καλή απόκριση εικόνας στην κίνηση ή δεν βρήκα εγώ σωστή ρύθμιση, οι αλλαγές καναλιών είναι γρήγορες στα κανάλια αλλά η ποιότητα εικόνας στα αναλογικά κανάλια δεν είναι καλή αλλά για αυτό δεν φταίει η τηλεόραση γιατί στη εφαρμογές τύπου νετφλιξ ,Ντίσνεϊ ή YouTube έχει πολύ καλή ποιότητα η εικόνας, βέβαια με την τελευταία αναβάθμιση της ντιτζια έχουμε ικανοποιητική εικόνα και στα αναλογικά κανάλια. Και ένα τελευταίο θέλει ψάξιμο στις ρυθμίσεις για να έχουμε καλύτερο αποτέλεσμα στα αναλογικά κανάλια.

Τελικά έχει HDMI 2.1 γιατί άλλος χρήστης αναφέρει ότι έχει και άλλος ότι δεν έχει. Στην περιγραφή του προϊόντος αναφέρει ότι έχει ενώ στα χαρακτηριστικά ότι δεν έχει.

Για να έχει ολοκληρωμένο HDMI 2.1 μια τηλεόραση πρέπει το πάνελ να είναι 100/120Hz και όχι 50/60Hz.
Πρέπει να καλύπτει όλα τα 4 παρακάτω;

2.VRR -variable refresh rate : 48-120Hz
3.ALLM : Auto Low Latency Mode

As a TV, as long as it worked, it was fantastic for movies in all aspects, but on the public channels it's like watching TV with a picture from 30 years ago.
Update: Total time for motherboard replacement from the day I reported the damage, 1 month and 12 days.

Purchased on 17/5/22 for €499, the 55" TV. I haven't had an Android TV before and it solved all my problems. I finally have Stremio and any other app I want directly on the TV. The picture is incredible, crystal clear, as long as you adjust it according to your own preferences, just like with any TV, and don't leave it with the factory settings. Connecting to wifi is effortless, as well as with my phone and wireless headphones. I highly recommend it and you won't be disappointed. Bravo TCL

Awesome picture especially if you tweak the settings a bit. Average sound. Feels like having a mi box with Android TV. Value for Money, definitely worth the 500 for the 55-inch

Sound is very good.
Android TV menu, good and equally fast as mi box s.
Viewing angles 0.
Color vibrancy is good for 500€, great for the case it was 350€, bad for the case of 700€ and above.

Good quality construction.

On Greek channels, it is bad, the upscaling is not the best.

If you want to spend up to 500€ for all-inclusive content (prime Netflix iptv), I think there is no other option.

Having an 8-year-old LG 47'' FHD LW5400 (incredible panel) and reading the reviews here, I decided to buy this specific TV. I also have a 4K subscription on Netflix, so I thought I would get a better picture. (I have 4K because five people in my household watch different things simultaneously, with an internet speed of 100Mbps and connected directly to the TV). I'm mentioning this for obvious reasons.
After a day of trying different settings, the TV is a COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT. I will return the TV tomorrow because it only causes pain.
The settings for this specific model were found through various forums, videos, and countless hours of changing parameters, without any success in improving the picture quality (obviously for 4K resolution with a 4K subscription on Netflix).
Oh, there is one good thing. If you want to use it for audio (the sound doesn't work, I was using it as a Bluetooth speaker), go ahead and buy it. It's fine.
Fortunately, I was able to return the TV and get my money back.
P.S. I bought this TV based on the reviews here and the excellent reviews on foreign websites praising its outstanding features. Perhaps this specific unit was defective. I didn't take the risk of exchanging it for the same model.
UPDATE 9/21/22
I have found the same TV in two hotels where I stay during my travels. SAME POOR QUALITY. I will not change my evaluation of this product, which ultimately was not defective.

What can I say about the television!!!
After a lot of searching for a decent television around 500 euros.
It was bought for 499 euros on offer.

TCL is an emerging brand, something like the Xiaomi of mobile phones, you pay for a product without the extra advertising of every brand like Samsung, LG, Sony, etc. (P.S.) The company is doing great in America!!

I have been amazed by the image, nice vibrant colors QLED, the ONKYO speakers have amazing sound, very powerful and with bass, I only reach 40/100 and it is already very loud!!! Android TV, Netflix works and Ertflix, games, etc...
The construction is great!!
The screen frame is minimal!!

It comes with 2 remotes, one specifically for the television and the other more internet-oriented with a microphone, buttons for Netflix, YouTube, etc.

55 inches, the perfect size for the living room! Don't regret later for buying a smaller size!
Buy it yesterday!

100% satisfied with my choice!!!

Very good VFM choice (although my panel has minor back light bleed). Its image is impressive in 4K and the Android menu is very convenient and customizable. It has a bit of lag in the menu if many apps are running in the background. The sound is awesome. Compared to simple LED UHD, QLEDs have a big difference in image/colors. A very good choice for movies on NETFLIX, etc. I didn't have any issues with national channels. I would recommend it

Excellent in everything. The only "negative" is that it has too many options in its image settings that you have to read in detail what each one does... Its colors are perfect, the sound is very good, powerful and clear.

Awesome picture, DOLBY VISION impeccable sound DOLBY ATMOS the only negative is that the hands-free/control microphone that you give voice commands with doesn't work, meaning the LED lights on the microphone don't turn on. Update on the previous comment, the TV wanted you to set the initial language to English in the settings, and the hands-free voice works perfectly with "ok Google" without pressing any buttons on the remote control. Everything is perfect!

I come from a 32-inch Toshiba that is 10 years old. I can't say that the picture is amazing; I expected more vibrant colors. The only difference I see is that the one I bought, which is 55 inches, is much bigger. For the offer I purchased it for, 470-80, it's okay (with the return offer)

Perfect picture in applications, lower resolution on terrestrial channels but it's normal and even though they have improved with HD, they still want more improvement to clean up. Satisfactory sound, user-friendly menu with many settings and I haven't explored all of them but the picture has improved quite a bit. It was purchased for €499 and I consider it perfect for its price!

I have had it for 3 months, on the 2nd month it started throwing me out of the YouTube and Netflix apps constantly, then it started restarting on its own and constantly disconnecting from the internet. I contacted the store where I bought it and they referred me to the ones who make TCL products in Greece. They told me to do a factory reset and usually that fixes the problem. I did the reset and now the TV doesn't even turn on (hahaha). I waited 24 days for them to tell me that the motherboard needs to be replaced and now I will wait again, I don't know how long, for them to bring the motherboard and replace it. Generally, if you have a warranty and don't pay, you go through all this. As a TV, as long as it worked, it was fantastic for movies in all aspects, but on the public channels it's like watching TV with a picture from 30 years ago.
