The ST LPS22HB absolute pressure sensor (also known as LPS22) measures atmospheric pressure quickly and easily, useful for weather forecasting or altitude determination. The LPS22 is the smallest sensor in the world (according to ST) and has dimensions of just 2x2mm. It features a wide measurement range from 260 to 1260 hPa with 24-bit pressure data, capable of measuring up to 75 times per second (Hz), providing accurate readings.
The sensor can measure absolute pressure with an accuracy of up to 0.1 hPa after a calibrated measurement. It comes on a breakout board with level shifting circuitry and a voltage regulator, making it easy to use with breadboards and various devices, whether with a logic level of 3.3V or 5V.
It also includes compatible STEMMA QT connectors for the I2C bus, eliminating the need for soldering. Libraries for Arduino and CircuitPython are available, facilitating code development for measurement reporting.
