Dog nail clippers with an ergonomic handle for added comfort and a safety lock to keep it closed when not in use.
The very sharp blades allow you to cut any type of nail. The safety latch located behind the blades prevents excessive cutting of the nails. Show special care when trimming your pet's nails. The blades are very sharp and can be dangerous for both you and your pet. Do not cut your pet's nails too short. Trim them slightly every 7-10 days if needed. Cut the nail with a single stroke, being careful not to cut into the blood vessels inside the nails. Cutting into the living part of the nail causes severe pain and bleeding.
Usage Instructions:
- Gently but firmly hold your pet's paw, it should be calm while you are trimming to avoid injury.
- Hold the clippers comfortably in your hand, unlock the safety, and cut the nail in a straight line – as shown in the picture on the packaging.
- The living tissue is visible in light-colored nails (blood vessels), so be careful not to cut into this area.
- With dark nails, the job is more complicated, so proceed very carefully and it's better to cut a little at a time.
- If you accidentally cut into the living tissue, the nail will bleed.
- Stop the bleeding by applying sterile gauze, a hemostatic bandage, or special hemostatic powder.
