Disposable gas catheter, sterilized and made of medical-grade PVC. Its tip is closed, rounded, and non-traumatic, while its lateral holes are smooth and rounded to avoid causing injury. The length of the gas catheter is 40cm and it does not kink. Its connector has color coding according to the catheter size for quick size identification. They are individually packaged in sterile transparent packaging.

Application for abdominal bloating:

• Inform the patient
• Prepare the tray and bring it close to the patient
• Set up a screen
• Remove the pajamas
• Provide a lateral position
• Place a square – waterproof sheet
• Ask to bend their legs
• Place the container on the square with the opening towards the patient’s seat.
• Open the tube bag from behind and remove the tube.
• Lubricate the tip with Vaseline using cotton.
• Use cotton wool to separate one buttock from the other and insert the front tip 7-10 cm while the other end is placed inside the container where water may be present.
• Leave for 10 minutes, repeat after 2-3 hours.
• Remove and wipe clean.
