The undershirts are good and of quality. However, they are not the t-shirt style undershirts that you can wear with a pair of bermuda shorts, jeans for example, and be OK.
They have a somewhat slimmer fit but they are quite elastic so that's not an issue.
They're simply meant to be worn under sweatshirts, etc. Also, for winter they are just right since the fabric is a bit thicker than a t-shirt, for example.
