    It has the basic cables and power supply to connect your hard drive (IDE or SATA) without including a base to fully justify the Docking Station designation. In my case, one of my two drives (SATA) happened to burn out, specifically the second time I used it with the LogiLink. I returned it for inspection without finding any damage, while the connection with the IDE drive remains problem-free. However, a small fear remains given that the hard drive that burned out (320 Gb) is more expensive than the LogiLink.
