I have had it for 10 days now and I am satisfied. Theoretically, it is a great monitor, as for the price of €94, it has a contrast ratio of 5000:1!! and a fairly good 4ms response time for a VA monitor! And indeed, it displays colors quite well compared to the TN type Asus monitor with a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and 2ms response time that I had as my main monitor until now. I don't notice the difference in response time.

From what I remember, TN monitors are older technology, but they achieve better response times, IPS monitors achieve better color accuracy and viewing angles, and VA monitors are newer and have the best contrasts. VA monitors are usually cheaper, but they may be the ones that are evolving more, resulting in smaller differences.

5000:1 is the contrast ratio of black/white and it is an amazing value, but it seems to achieve it with very intense white. For example, in the game Assassin's Creed Odyssey that I happened to play recently, when I adjusted the full contrast, the beaches that the sun was shining on were so bright that I couldn't distinguish the texture/formation of the ground. Or in caves, the lamp that the heroine carried produced so much light that I couldn't see the surrounding area. It was blinding. So, theoretically, it achieves the 5000:1 contrast ratio, but it is not very usable. The colors are indeed more vibrant compared to the previous one, but it doesn't impress me as much as I would expect. But maybe it's subjective.

Overall, it is very good for its price.

It worked fine for three days, then it broke, but I believe it was just a defective one, that's why it has the warranty on my side. They sent me a replacement, so it's okay. Otherwise, it's a very good screen for such a low price. Oh, and I got it from another phone, that's why it doesn't say that I bought it.
