The Watercontrol System (WCS) with a flexible metal hose monitors the water intake with a water level sensor. The water intake is automatically stopped if the normal level is not reached. If there is a water leak inside the washing machine, the intake valve inside the appliance closes and the water in the soap container is removed. A float switch in the collection tray also detects water leakage.
