I wanted it for the nightstand next to the bed, but it doesn't serve its purpose well because it lacks flexibility. It is not designed for movement on three axes, but on two, which in short means that to bring it to a convenient viewing position you either have to have it screwed opposite you or above you.

Also, it wobbles a lot at its base, which is not at all encouraging when its joints require so much force to change positions. Surely, someone who uses it a lot will see it break soon.

This is the second one I’ve bought and I’ve already had the first one for over 8 years. It’s really incredibly handy, I keep it on my nightstand and I lie down and watch series on my tablet or phone. It goes up and down and rotates so it can adjust to the height and position you want. I put the second one on the balcony railing so I can watch series there. Very useful!
