Skroutz Tips!

What to watch out for when assembling the furniture

To avoid accidents, a preventive approach is the best way. In the case of furniture, the best way to achieve this is by properly securing every piece of furniture over 75cm in height to the wall.

Depending on the type of wall (drywall, brick, concrete, etc.) and the furniture, it is necessary to use appropriate fittings, such as screws, plugs, etc., which ensure the safety of both the wall and the furniture during use, as well as the proper securing of the furniture to the wall. If you are unsure about the appropriate fittings to use, seek the help of a specialist.

How to prevent accidents from furniture or appliances that may fall:

  • Ensure that the furniture is securely fastened to the wall using the appropriate support fittings.
  • Avoid placing televisions, appliances, or heavy objects on furniture not intended for such use.
  • Place heavier items on lower shelves.
  • Do not allow children to climb on shelves.

This review is about a variation of the product

It's not bad for the money, but don't expect particularly high-quality wood. I wouldn't place it at the main entrance, but in a more "hidden" spot. It does its job just fine, has spaces, and you can also add extra shelves on the right side, behind the mirror, if you don't use the space for clothes. You can also put "baskets" or "small bins" in the shoe cabinet's spots (I got some from Jumbo) and turn these 4 spots into "drawers." I also changed the hangers to something more modern that I bought separately.

The assembly is indeed difficult, nothing like IKEA, but not impossible. If you take it step by step and carefully, you'll manage. There is only one single image that shows a rough connection of the pieces without details. There is also a table that lists the dimensions of the pieces which you should consult to understand which piece is referred to each time (the pieces have a sticker with their dimensions on them).

It definitely requires 2 people (one to hold and one to screw) because the wood is large. For 2 people who are "handy," it probably takes 3-4 hours, maybe even less if you don't make mistakes and need to take apart specific pieces again (we experienced that too).

Very good wardrobe for its price, it has 3 hooks to hang coats and jackets, it can fit 8 women's/children's shoes and behind the mirror it has a lot of space to store devices, I have stored a vacuum cleaner, a clothes rack, an iron, and a bag holder comfortably. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because there are no clear instructions like at IKEA, which explains step by step how to assemble everything, it is only for experienced people in assembly or carpenters. Although we have assembled many furniture pieces from IKEA without much difficulty, we couldn't manage it and had to bring a carpenter.

Very good quality melamine, no comparison with the furniture of a well-known department store, spacious, very difficult to assemble! It is not plain white, it has beautiful veins inside. It worked great as an entrance furniture for clothes, hats, masks, and keys!
