The powered studio subwoofer KRK S10.4 is based on KRK's long-standing heritage of unparalleled sonic accuracy and top performance. It features a custom-voiced 10-inch glass aramid composite woofer, delivering exceptionally tight, clear, and precisely defined bass, achieving low-frequency extension down to 27Hz with a maximum SPL of 117.2 dB. The system is driven by a lightweight and powerful 160 Watts RMS Class-D amplifier, which dramatically enhances transient response, providing absolute control and punch.

Mix and master with absolute confidence. The S10.4 features an exclusive Bypass Footswitch control function via a 1/4" TRS jack. By connecting an optional footswitch, you can instantly mute the subwoofer and disable the crossover filter, sending full-range sound directly to your recording monitors. This allows you to instantly compare how your mix sounds with and without the support of the subwoofer, without having to manually turn off the device or adjust your settings.

The KRK S10.4 is designed to "play well with others," making it the ideal complement for any active studio monitor, whether from KRK or another manufacturer. It features an optimized four-position crossover selector, making it extremely easy to adjust the cutoff frequencies (30Hz - 110Hz) depending on the monitors you already have. In terms of connectivity, it offers universal connectivity, incorporating inputs and outputs for XLR L/R, 1/4" TRS Balanced L/R, and RCA Unbalanced L/R, covering every connection need in broadcast, production, or sound design.

The cabinet architecture has been radically redesigned, offering a lower profile and a front-firing bass port. This port has been carefully engineered to provide maximum low-frequency extension while simultaneously reducing boundary coupling (resonance with walls), and its unique shape avoids air turbulence (port turbulence). The cabinet is made of reinforced MDF wood (15 mm and 18 mm) for maximum durability and rigidity, while the base features an EVA Isolation Pad for effective vibration damping from the floor.

The subwoofer is equipped with professional control tools on its rear panel to solve any acoustic problem in the studio. It includes a Ground Lift switch (On/Off), which isolates the ground and prevents annoying hums and ground loops from the electrical network. At the same time, it features a polarity control knob (Polarity 0° or 180°) for proper phase alignment with the main speakers, as well as an input sensitivity adjustment switch, ensuring that the signal enters the system at the ideal level without distortion (THD+N ≤ 0.12%).
