One of the best batteries I have ever installed.
The battery was installed in September 2018 and gave out today, May 2026.
I still can't believe how many years it lasted.

At the dealership they put this battery in for me. After 3.5 years of use, the battery computer showed 65% battery life. It was working just fine but I was afraid it might fail me in the winter. I put the same one again without going to the dealership, saving half the money they wanted.

7/2023 installation and March 2026 completely dead all of a sudden in a moving car...Bosch is done, now they're just looking for customers...STAY AWAY

Purchase 18/9/2018...frequent use but there are also periods when the car sits idle...today 2/2/2026 due to inactivity it no longer holds charge...with charging it works again...7.5 years...it is in a Seat Leon 1.4 tsi...what do you think, is it worth it?

I thought that because of the brand it would be reliable, but after 15 months of mild (not daily) use, it suddenly lost one of its cells, dropped to 10 volts and cannot start the car without a booster. What a shame for the brand and my money...

Purchase-Installation September 2022. On September 12, 2025, the car cannot start and when you touch it, it is warm.

I installed it exactly one year and two months ago. They said it has a 2-year warranty, but the car won't start in the morning. I took it to where I bought it, they measured it and told me the battery is fine, but empty, and the warranty doesn't cover you. It's 'fine' even though it won't start in the morning. I won't bother anymore, never again with this brand

Two years two months and it stayed like it had a timer without warning the Czech Bosch. Two stars and that's generous.

The previous one made in Germany lasted exactly 6 years, this one I got on 13/03/25 made in Czechia, I don't know how long it will last me, if as the previous ones write, I won't buy again, if it lasts even 4 years, I will buy again! I will return when it lets me!

I have bought it 2 times. The first one lasted 3 years with regular use. The second one after 2 years is for throwing away. It left me stranded 2 times after being idle for a few days. I preferred mitsuba now.

The battery has happily reached 4 years and continues to work without any problems. I can't understand those who complain because it lasted only 4 years, when the average life of a battery is 3-4 years. The previous one I had, VARTA, "died" at 2 years and 1 month.

This is a made in China battery (some batches with a bit of luck come from Poland) with an average lifespan of 4-5 years under "Greek weather conditions" in a daily use vehicle - for commuting. Certainly, the brand doesn't mean anything anymore (purely due to price, the two stars). Since everything from this company is made in China (so the production costs will ideally be low), it could have better prices in the market.

I put it on 5/29/20 and it lasted until 3/28/24, today. Not even 4 years.. it disappointed me. I will go to another company, probably ending up with varta

Before I had the Bosch S4004 60 A 540 Ah 12V (Czech), from 8/2020 until yesterday 1/2024. It lasted me 3.5 years in an Alfa Romeo 156 1600 c.c. with daily use of the vehicle without any issues. According to other reviews, it could have lasted longer. I replaced it with a slightly larger Bosch S5005 63A 610 Ah, for 90 euros, because it struggled to start 3-4 times and I was afraid of getting stranded on the road. Overall, a good battery.

I had it in my car for 6 years. I changed it when it started struggling to start. I bought the same one again.

It was installed on 23/09/23 on a Toyota Yaris 08'. I will come back for a reevaluation! 3 stars for now because I don't have an opinion!

It lasted 5 and a half years with daily use. I had to change it because it struggled to shift into gear. The next day, luckily, it shifted into gear again on the first try, but with the same difficulty. That's when I decided to replace it with the Bosch 5005, which is slightly better in terms of performance. I am satisfied.

In Skoda Fabia 1, the first time it lasted 7 years... Replacement with the same one which probably we fell into Turkish Bosch. It didn't last 3 years with obvious starting difficulties... I will replace it with a 100% Chinese brand, whatever it may be, since neither this nor that is German anymore, the Bosch.

Purchased and installed on 21/05/22 on Octavia Tour 1.6 as the battery it had was dead. So far, everything is fine, the car came back to life even though I only start it once a week due to temporary immobility. I will come back later once I see the behavior and performance better

It was installed in 7/2016 and replaced in 5/2022. It lasted almost 6 years without any issues and was replaced preemptively without letting me down. Overall, I am very satisfied and would buy it again.

It has been working since December 2016. In March 2020, due to the lockdown because of the coronavirus, it was not used and I was ready to throw it away, but my electrician told me that it can still withstand. After charging it, it has been working continuously for 2 years until today without any issues, but I will replace it preemptively with the exact same one (I found it for 56 euros). The good thing is that every day, due to the routes, it charges consistently for 2 and a half hours and never remains uncharged (in SITREON 1600 VTS)

Powerful battery for high performance even in low temperatures. It's worth its money. Especially in a car with low demands for electrical energy that is used daily, it will last you for years. I highly recommend it.

Installed in 01/2017 on a Meriva B. Replaced in 03/2022 (5 years and 2 months) not because it gave up, but because it showed serious signs of wear during cold winter starts in Northern Greece. It completely died once due to Covid-related inactivity, but with an overnight charge, it was back in shape. I hope the new one performs as well as the first installation and recoups its cost once again.

10 years and one month. 01/2012 - 02/2022 in a BMW E46 and it still works. Excellent battery, reliable value.

In Skoda Yeti, it lasted for 3 years, and from the beginning, it was dead compared to the genuine one that lasted 9 years!!!!!!!!!

Two times I have bought Bosch, the silver and then the S4004, they lasted me 9 years and the car, a Ford transit that takes 2 batteries, I use it slowly and wow!!!
That's why I bought the S4005 and I hope they last me as long as the previous ones.

It lasted 6 years and 2 months (March 2016 - January 2022) in a NISSAN PRIMERA 1600. In the last few months, it only had some issues in the cold, but eventually started working properly. I had already bought another one and today I replaced it. I think it is definitely worth the money, and I hope the new one turns out just like the previous one.
