Unfortunately, it has nothing to do with the old Xiaomi, it heats up very easily which lowers both the performance and the battery, the final blow is the hyperos which since it was released has made everything on the phone worse plus I can no longer record videos without stuttering at 60fps it tells you afterwards!! The issue is that through the rare software updates I don't see anything improving particularly!!

I bought the phone at the price of €306 with a receipt and I have to say that it is one of the best purchases I have made! It is a beast, it can handle anything you throw at it and personally, I haven't had any issues with overheating except for the first day when I was downloading all the backups from my old phone. It takes very nice photos with a high resolution, clear video, and vibrant and beautiful colors. The only thing I could mention as a negative is its battery, it barely lasts a day with the usage I give it, but the good thing is that it charges in less than 30 minutes. If you find it at such a price, buy it immediately.

Well, the phone is a cannon, very fast with a very good screen. I got it for my son and I used it myself for about 15-20 days and I was absolutely satisfied. Its main drawback is its price; I think it is very expensive as a phone in general because with that money you can get a phone from a more popular brand than Xiaomi, meaning you could go for something like Samsung or even touch something from the iPhone series. I bought it in October 22 for 390€ without VAT on a German's offer, so now I have been using it for 1 year.
- The battery easily lasts for 1 day... not a second day though, but it charges quickly so you don't mind.
- Personally, it doesn't lag for me... I also use hotspot.
- The connectivity is flawless, I didn't receive any notifications on my Huawei GT2 Pro watch, I gave all the permissions to the health app and everything is fine.
- My goal is to keep it for at least 4 years in total, and it seems to be managing it without any problems.
- It doesn't heat up... I don't know what the others are doing.

The phone for the money it has today has no rival. A mobile phone of top quality in construction. Very good in photos and videos. Amazing screen. And don't be afraid in terms of updates because it will get up to android 15 and hyper os. Xiaomi traditionally always gives 3 android updates on its flagships and this was released with android 12 and now has android 13.

With the battery being the only downside, which obviously lasts all day but charges very quickly, everything else is amazing! I got it for 321€ because it is considered and is an old model, but it has nothing to envy from the equivalent current 13 or 13t. The only thing you should consider at this point is that it doesn't have much future in terms of upgrades, which personally doesn't bother me since I had my previous oneplus 6 for 5 years without any problems and it eventually just had issues with the side buttons and was retired! The Xiaomi 12 is a phone that won't let you down, you'll be able to charge it as much as you want and take very good photos and videos.

I have it for over a month now and I decided to write about my experience. It has a good battery that easily lasts until the evening with the usage I do, the old one needed at least 1 charge per day if not 2. In terms of size, it is slightly bigger than what I wanted but for this price, below 400€, I couldn't find anything else. Overall, I am satisfied, but it is a big mistake or delay in the alarm clock that goes to the general and I cannot adjust the snooze time accordingly for each new one, okay it's a software issue but I wanted to mention it. I have a problem with applications like Viber & Messenger where they send me messages and they don't always come unless I open the respective application, quite annoying. However, in general, I am quite satisfied with what I do and it doesn't generally freeze. 4 stars because if I had paid the 900€ they ask for the new one and had these issues, I would have been very disappointed.

The mobile phone, apart from its battery not being worth it, also frequently switches to 2G (E) network, which I compare to other phones that have 4G and 5G capabilities, like this one does, but this particular phone seems to prefer the 2G network more often. Generally, it has a weak signal. For me, these two are its main issues: improper battery optimization and poor signal strength. That's why I went and bought the OnePlus Nord 3, not because it has a significantly better battery (slightly better, at best), but at least it has a stronger signal. Hopefully, they will fix these issues in a future update, although I haven't seen an update in over 8 months. Other than that, it's a convenient phone, but I ended up buying another one.

I would also like to mention that it overheats and cannot complete the AnTuTu application. When it overheats, it displays an overheating message and shuts down. Additionally, even when it gets warm, even in my pocket during the summer, the screen becomes so dim that if the phone doesn't cool down, nothing is visible even with maximum brightness, especially in the summer. It's barely visible, even though it has 1,100 nits when it's very hot. With a quick calculation, I believe it drops to around 500 nits, even though the brightness setting is at full. However, as soon as you enter a room with air conditioning and it cools down, the brightness returns. If you wear glasses, forget about seeing anything. You'll have to put two ice cubes behind the phone to keep it cool and make the screen brighter so it doesn't overheat

And the one star seems very much to me, coming from Mi8 and Mi9 which I still have and use, this particular Mi12 is terrible. It has a HUGE overheating problem to the point of being useless. 10 minutes of video on WhatsApp and it overheats and closes the application, it shuts down the hotspot that I constantly use for work. Don't even think about taking it to the beach, it overheats in no time and doesn't let you open any application. I'm struggling to return it and see if I can get another one... Xiaomi usually has affordable and quality products but stay away from this one...

Guys, the mobile is amazing, especially for the price of 400€ that someone can find it today. I come from redmi note 8 and the difference in screen colors is huge. On the positive side: The response is very fast in applications as well as in fingerprint. I don't play games, so I can't judge. It heats up a little in the camera, but within reasonable limits. The design is very elegant, especially for someone who doesn't go crazy for fancy mobiles.

Camera: The main camera is very reliable, clear photos even in night mode, quite decent. The zoom is not crazy, obviously, but personally, it doesn't bother me. Selfie: Satisfactory for social media, don't expect miracles. Video: Quite good with the main camera, the front one may lag a bit.

Now, for the negatives, let's talk about the battery, which with full use, especially with the camera, doesn't last all day, but it charges very quickly, which for me is not such a problem. Additionally, it comes with a charger and I won't have to pay extra (I consider this a positive compared to the s22, for example).

Conclusion: At the price of 450, there is nothing better at the moment, I believe. A new phone for 400 cannot be compared to one that initially cost 700, although at its initial price, I personally wouldn't prefer it.

The phone is a sphere in all aspects and has excellent speaker quality and a very good screen. Okay, the battery drains quickly. I switched from 5G to 4G because I simply consider 5G to be excessive and it unnecessarily drains my battery. The thing is, it charges so quickly that you forget how quickly it drains. In 20 minutes, it goes from 40% to 90%. It easily lasts a day if you don't play games with heavy usage. By night, it will have around 15-20% battery left. For the money it costs now, it is probably the best choice and much better than a midrange phone from 2023. A phone with an initial price of 900 euros last year cannot be compared to a new phone that costs 400 euros this year. The difference is significant, not only in the hardware but also in the updates and support. Dolby Atmos changes the way you listen to music, whether through Bluetooth speakers or the phone's speakers. I was torn between this and the Xiaomi 12T, but I chose this one because of its quality construction and because it was last year's flagship, and of course, because of the Snapdragon processor.

I purchased this specific model on 31/12/2023 from an official store in Kolonaki. From the first days, I was disappointed with the battery and connectivity with other devices. With the Garmin plus 5X watch, I had a huge problem as it couldn't connect for a month, but after some updates, it managed to do so. Its battery is unacceptable as it reaches 60% from 6 am to 10 am. Last week it dropped 20% every 20 minutes. I do not recommend it in ANY case. UNACCEPTABLE.

Hello. I am a Xiaomi mi 9 owner and I decided to go back to Xiaomi for the purchase of a new phone since I was very satisfied. What did I want? So, I bought the Xiaomi 12 with 8GB RAM and 256 storage space. The phone has an Amoled screen. This means that my old phone has a Super Amoled screen and this one is just Amoled. Practically, this means disappointment for me. The colors are not as perfect on the Xiaomi 12. Too bad Xiaomi. The camera is boring, only slightly better than the Xiaomi 9. The speakers are okay. I have had the phone for a few days and I can say that it is excellent! I was skeptical about overheating, but in the end, there is no issue at all. Of course, I don't play very demanding games, but for an average user, there won't be any problem. The battery indeed doesn't last very long, but if someone is not constantly on their phone all day, it will definitely last until the evening. It also charges very quickly, both wired and wirelessly. The screen is excellent, and the cameras are very good too! The speakers are of good quality, but I would have expected a bit more volume. Overall, at 400 euros, which is the price someone can find it today, it is an impeccable choice in my opinion. I will provide an update if anything changes in the future.

Update 19/09/23: I will deduct one star because after spending the summer with the phone, I can say that it does indeed have an overheating issue. Specifically, it couldn't keep the flashlight on for a long time, and when I tried to record videos, it would freeze a bit at the beginning. Also, in some games, the phone would heat up significantly! Overall, the temperature is not its strong point

So, I received it yesterday from another platform. It's a gorgeous phone! Tremendous screen resolution and runs like a dream! The camera and video are exceptional with many options for editing. The battery is quite satisfactory and can definitely last a full day, maybe because as soon as I opened it from Miui 12, it upgraded to 13 and then to 14 after a while! I'm not a gamer, but as much as I use it, it hasn't heated up at all! Finally, it charges easily!

Only 3 observations:

a) Anyone who is used to a wider phone may find the new feel in their hand a bit narrow. I was used to the Poco F1 and my hand gets tired from the way I hold it until I get used to it.

b) Another thing that may bother me is that generally with Xiaomi phones in recent years (like the Poco X3), you feel uncomfortable talking on the phone when there are other people around because all conversations can be heard by the caller... You might say, "Come on, man, are you kidding us?" I just have to play with the volume of my voice, even at the lowest, the other person can still be heard.

c) At first, I had an issue with notifications, but after the upgrade, everything is okay.

I bought the phone at the price of €306 with a receipt and I have to say that it is one of the best purchases I have made! It is a beast, it can handle anything you throw at it and personally, I haven't had any issues with overheating except for the first day when I was downloading all the backups from my old phone. It takes very nice photos with a high resolution, clear video, and vibrant and beautiful colors. The only thing I could mention as a negative is its battery, it barely lasts a day with the usage I give it, but the good thing is that it charges in less than 30 minutes. If you find it at such a price, buy it immediately.

Well, the phone is a cannon, very fast with a very good screen. I got it for my son and I used it myself for about 15-20 days and I was absolutely satisfied. Its main drawback is its price; I think it is very expensive as a phone in general because with that money you can get a phone from a more popular brand than Xiaomi, meaning you could go for something like Samsung or even touch something from the iPhone series. I bought it in October 22 for 390€ without VAT on a German's offer, so now I have been using it for 1 year.
- The battery easily lasts for 1 day... not a second day though, but it charges quickly so you don't mind.
- Personally, it doesn't lag for me... I also use hotspot.
- The connectivity is flawless, I didn't receive any notifications on my Huawei GT2 Pro watch, I gave all the permissions to the health app and everything is fine.
- My goal is to keep it for at least 4 years in total, and it seems to be managing it without any problems.
- It doesn't heat up... I don't know what the others are doing.

The phone for the money it has today has no rival. A mobile phone of top quality in construction. Very good in photos and videos. Amazing screen. And don't be afraid in terms of updates because it will get up to android 15 and hyper os. Xiaomi traditionally always gives 3 android updates on its flagships and this was released with android 12 and now has android 13.

With the battery being the only downside, which obviously lasts all day but charges very quickly, everything else is amazing! I got it for 321€ because it is considered and is an old model, but it has nothing to envy from the equivalent current 13 or 13t. The only thing you should consider at this point is that it doesn't have much future in terms of upgrades, which personally doesn't bother me since I had my previous oneplus 6 for 5 years without any problems and it eventually just had issues with the side buttons and was retired! The Xiaomi 12 is a phone that won't let you down, you'll be able to charge it as much as you want and take very good photos and videos.

I have it for over a month now and I decided to write about my experience. It has a good battery that easily lasts until the evening with the usage I do, the old one needed at least 1 charge per day if not 2. In terms of size, it is slightly bigger than what I wanted but for this price, below 400€, I couldn't find anything else. Overall, I am satisfied, but it is a big mistake or delay in the alarm clock that goes to the general and I cannot adjust the snooze time accordingly for each new one, okay it's a software issue but I wanted to mention it. I have a problem with applications like Viber & Messenger where they send me messages and they don't always come unless I open the respective application, quite annoying. However, in general, I am quite satisfied with what I do and it doesn't generally freeze. 4 stars because if I had paid the 900€ they ask for the new one and had these issues, I would have been very disappointed.

The mobile phone, apart from its battery not being worth it, also frequently switches to 2G (E) network, which I compare to other phones that have 4G and 5G capabilities, like this one does, but this particular phone seems to prefer the 2G network more often. Generally, it has a weak signal. For me, these two are its main issues: improper battery optimization and poor signal strength. That's why I went and bought the OnePlus Nord 3, not because it has a significantly better battery (slightly better, at best), but at least it has a stronger signal. Hopefully, they will fix these issues in a future update, although I haven't seen an update in over 8 months. Other than that, it's a convenient phone, but I ended up buying another one.

I would also like to mention that it overheats and cannot complete the AnTuTu application. When it overheats, it displays an overheating message and shuts down. Additionally, even when it gets warm, even in my pocket during the summer, the screen becomes so dim that if the phone doesn't cool down, nothing is visible even with maximum brightness, especially in the summer. It's barely visible, even though it has 1,100 nits when it's very hot. With a quick calculation, I believe it drops to around 500 nits, even though the brightness setting is at full. However, as soon as you enter a room with air conditioning and it cools down, the brightness returns. If you wear glasses, forget about seeing anything. You'll have to put two ice cubes behind the phone to keep it cool and make the screen brighter so it doesn't overheat

And the one star seems very much to me, coming from Mi8 and Mi9 which I still have and use, this particular Mi12 is terrible. It has a HUGE overheating problem to the point of being useless. 10 minutes of video on WhatsApp and it overheats and closes the application, it shuts down the hotspot that I constantly use for work. Don't even think about taking it to the beach, it overheats in no time and doesn't let you open any application. I'm struggling to return it and see if I can get another one... Xiaomi usually has affordable and quality products but stay away from this one...

Guys, the mobile is amazing, especially for the price of 400€ that someone can find it today. I come from redmi note 8 and the difference in screen colors is huge. On the positive side: The response is very fast in applications as well as in fingerprint. I don't play games, so I can't judge. It heats up a little in the camera, but within reasonable limits. The design is very elegant, especially for someone who doesn't go crazy for fancy mobiles.

Camera: The main camera is very reliable, clear photos even in night mode, quite decent. The zoom is not crazy, obviously, but personally, it doesn't bother me. Selfie: Satisfactory for social media, don't expect miracles. Video: Quite good with the main camera, the front one may lag a bit.

Now, for the negatives, let's talk about the battery, which with full use, especially with the camera, doesn't last all day, but it charges very quickly, which for me is not such a problem. Additionally, it comes with a charger and I won't have to pay extra (I consider this a positive compared to the s22, for example).

Conclusion: At the price of 450, there is nothing better at the moment, I believe. A new phone for 400 cannot be compared to one that initially cost 700, although at its initial price, I personally wouldn't prefer it.

The phone is a sphere in all aspects and has excellent speaker quality and a very good screen. Okay, the battery drains quickly. I switched from 5G to 4G because I simply consider 5G to be excessive and it unnecessarily drains my battery. The thing is, it charges so quickly that you forget how quickly it drains. In 20 minutes, it goes from 40% to 90%. It easily lasts a day if you don't play games with heavy usage. By night, it will have around 15-20% battery left. For the money it costs now, it is probably the best choice and much better than a midrange phone from 2023. A phone with an initial price of 900 euros last year cannot be compared to a new phone that costs 400 euros this year. The difference is significant, not only in the hardware but also in the updates and support. Dolby Atmos changes the way you listen to music, whether through Bluetooth speakers or the phone's speakers. I was torn between this and the Xiaomi 12T, but I chose this one because of its quality construction and because it was last year's flagship, and of course, because of the Snapdragon processor.

I purchased this specific model on 31/12/2023 from an official store in Kolonaki. From the first days, I was disappointed with the battery and connectivity with other devices. With the Garmin plus 5X watch, I had a huge problem as it couldn't connect for a month, but after some updates, it managed to do so. Its battery is unacceptable as it reaches 60% from 6 am to 10 am. Last week it dropped 20% every 20 minutes. I do not recommend it in ANY case. UNACCEPTABLE.

Hello. I am a Xiaomi mi 9 owner and I decided to go back to Xiaomi for the purchase of a new phone since I was very satisfied. What did I want? So, I bought the Xiaomi 12 with 8GB RAM and 256 storage space. The phone has an Amoled screen. This means that my old phone has a Super Amoled screen and this one is just Amoled. The only negative aspect of this phone, as with all others, is the battery which drains quickly. It doesn't last a day without charging, but I do use it a lot. This may not be an excuse, but I believe it's good to share our real experiences.

I have had the phone for a few days and I can say that it is excellent! I was skeptical about overheating, but in the end, there is no issue at all. Of course, I don't play very demanding games, but for an average user, there won't be any problem. The battery indeed doesn't last very long, but if someone is not constantly on their phone all day, it will definitely last until the evening. It also charges very quickly, both wired and wirelessly. The screen is excellent, and the cameras are very good too! The speakers are of good quality, but I would have expected a bit more volume. Overall, at 400 euros, which is the price someone can find it today, it is an impeccable choice in my opinion. I will provide an update if anything changes in the future.

Update 19/09/23: I will deduct one star because after spending the summer with the phone, I can say that it does indeed have an overheating issue. Specifically, it couldn't keep the flashlight on for a long time, and when I tried to record videos, it would freeze a bit at the beginning. Also, in some games, the phone would heat up significantly! Overall, the temperature is not its strong point
