Just received it, so I don't have an opinion yet on its durability over time. However, every DeLock product I have purchased has proven to be functional and durable, so I don't expect any unpleasant surprises.
I got it to convert any microSD card (even high capacity ones) into a tiny stick that can be easily transported and inserted into any device, without size or compatibility issues. I preferred USB 2.0 because similarly small USB 3.0 devices are a) bulkier, b) usually have overheating issues, and c) are not necessarily compatible with older devices.
In the end, it turned out to be incredibly fast for a USB 2.0. It reads and writes a SAMSUNG EVO Plus 128Gb from 2018 at around 35 Mb/sec, almost twice the speed of other USB 2.0 card readers I have (see photo from Atto). Therefore, in terms of speed, it exceeded my expectations by far. By the way, it uses a Realtek chipset (RTS5153), so it's not cheap and unreliable.
Due to its design, without the usual metal guide around the connector, it requires a bit more attention when inserting it. Apart from that, it is user-friendly, smoothly and easily fits into the port. Also, the card goes in and out as it should, slightly tight but without much difficulty.
Its casing is plastic, so it is more susceptible to wear and tear compared to metal ones. Therefore, it is probably not the best for everyday use.
It comes with a very practical loop with a secure hook for easy connection and disconnection to a keyring.
    Overall, I am very satisfied.
