Description

The strengths of the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6:

2023 Test Winner: 1st place among 50 brands (Auto Bild) and "Eco-Master" for its economy.

Wet braking system: Innovative resin for maximum grip in the rain.

Suitable for electric vehicles: Designed for quiet operation and increased battery range.

Upgrade your driving experience

The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 doesn’t just ask for a place on your car. It claims the top spot.

As the undisputed Test Winner (Test Winner) from the most rigorous organizations worldwide (Auto Bild, Tyre Reviews), this tire sets the standards for what "top performance" means.

Whether you drive a dynamic conventional car or a modern electric vehicle (EV), the Asymmetric 6 adapts to your style, offering a unique combination of sporty handling, safety, and comfort that no other tire can currently compete with.

Become One with the Road (Dry)

When the turns begin, the tire... wakes up.

Dry contact technology allows the tread to adapt to your driving style. In extreme maneuvers, the contact surface with the road increases, offering improved grip and precise responses.

You don't just drive, you feel the car.

Grip that defies the weather (Wet)

Rain no longer scares you.

The braking technology on wet surfaces uses an innovative resin system that increases the "micro-contact" of the tire with the asphalt. This translates into great grip and short braking distances, regardless of the weather.

Ready for the Future (EV Ready)

The Asymmetric 6 is designed for the new era. It incorporates noise cancellation technology for cabin quietness and reduced rolling resistance that increases the range of electric vehicles.

It is ideal for your heavy and fast Tesla, as well as for your GTi.

Tested in practice: What drivers say about the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6

We have gathered for you the key points from reviews by verified owners:

  • Excellent grip: The vast majority report impressive traction on both dry and wet roads.
  • Comfort and sporty: Drivers find it quiet and comfortable, achieving the perfect balance between sporty driving and everyday use.

They recommended it to me at the store and insisted to the point where I felt uncomfortable, compared to a competitor (pilot sport), and they also promised me an 80 euro discount, which became a coupon that I never received.... I had made it clear that I wanted a comfortable ride and I was very satisfied with the tires I had, the tire is hard and spins from the first day. Size 235/40/19, it's good that stores push to promote only this particular brand, but the corresponding quality is also needed.

Compared to the Michelin Primacy 4 in size 225/45r17, much better grip in corners, steering with more feedback, quieter even though I did not expect it, equally comfortable. I will return with a new comment regarding wear. Fitted on a Honda Civic fn/fk 1.8.

Installed in February 2024, they have covered as of today 18,347 km. I will say that at first, they were okay; they took a while to warm up, but okay! Now they slip a lot; you lose the rear end, and the ESP saves me! Especially in the wet, I use the all-weather option, and I have 100/100 safety systems active, worse than the Michelin PS4s I had before, which I didn't like at all. I have changed many branded tires, but again G.Y. and Michelin, never! The vehicle is 1.4cc 155hp turbo 1150kg (without changing front and back, the rear always has good tires, it's a rule!)

I have been using it for a year now, first I had Michelin Pilot, a big difference in grip. I have done 10,000 kilometers so far without problems. The car I use is a BMW E46 175 hp turbo. Economical in price and definitely if nothing better comes out in the future, I will buy it again!!!

I have put them on an Audi A3 1.6tdi 8v, fully satisfied until 15k kilometers, very satisfied. I swapped them to the front and I was not satisfied, they have started becoming very unpredictable, I will not wear them again

I had the asymmetric 2, 3, and now the 6 on the same car, in 225/45R17/Y. I have driven about 5000 km with the 6s, mostly on national roads. At first, I noticed more noise with these tires, especially on rough road surfaces, but lately I haven't noticed it again. Otherwise, they are excellent and very similar to the previous versions, the perfect combination of grip and comfort. The soft sidewalls, as always, make the handling somewhat vague at the limit, but it's worth it to avoid banging on irregularities. Out of all the versions, I have the best impressions, probably from the asy 2, but it could also be due to the camber, or maybe even the age...

Super sport tires, if you are interested in sport driving then get them, if you want comfortable driving don't even think about it because they have very strong sidewalls.
