To stop this threat, Harley Quinn, Peacemaker, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark have been tasked with capturing, taking care of, and if necessary, executing five deadly new candidates: the disposable products of a secret government process called BLAZE. They are communities of prisoners, endowed with incredible power... and with the certainty that they will burn like fire. They have six months to live, at most. If you face life in prison, this might be a good deal - especially if you're Michael Van Zandt, desperate to reunite with the crazy lover who left you after your criminal escapade like Bonnie and Clyde. But this power? It is unfortunately transferable.
