The Helle Lappland celebrates the traditions of knives in northern Scandinavia and is often used by the indigenous Sámi. The name Lappland refers to the northern region that combines the northern parts of Finland, Norway, and Sweden.
The blade is made from Sandvik 12C27 steel, with a thickness of 2.9 mm, ideal for slicing. The handle is made of birch wood with brass fittings, providing a comfortable grip and is suitable for medium to large hands. It comes with a traditional Scandinavian leather sheath.
Maintenance:
- Dry the handle and blade with a soft cloth if they get wet.
- It is recommended to occasionally add wax or oil.
- The sheath should be occasionally treated with a colorless agent to keep it flexible.
- Carefully dry the sheath at room temperature if it gets wet.
All Helle knives are handcrafted and finished, making them unique masterpieces.
