October TERRA HS004 amplifiers suitable for boosting signals from cable television, terrestrial, and FM radio. They offer adjustable gain and tilt in VHF and UHF. They support powering (+12 V) equipment through the RF IN connector.
The HS004L amplifier features a 30 dB LTE signal rejection filter in the UHF sub-band. Its construction meets strict requirements according to EN50083-2, Class A. It is intended for indoor use only.
Safety Instructions:
- The installation of the amplifier should be carried out in accordance with IEC60728-11 and national safety specifications.
- The amplifier is powered by a 230 V~ network. This voltage is dangerous.
- Repairs should be made by experienced personnel.
- Do not remove the power supply unit's cover without disconnecting the unit from the power supply.
- Do not connect the amplifier to the power supply if the cable or socket is damaged.
- Disconnect the socket from the power source for complete disconnection of the amplifier.
- The socket should be easily accessible.
- Do not expose the amplifier to droplets or splashes of water.
- Do not place liquid-containing objects, such as vases, on top of the amplifier.
- Avoid placing the amplifier near central heating units or in areas of high humidity.
- Do not place burning objects, such as candles, on the amplifier.
- After the amplifier has been kept at low temperatures, allow it to sit in a warm room for at least 2 hours before connecting it to the power supply.
- Do not insert objects into the vents, and ensure that vents are not covered by items such as newspapers or curtains.
- Mount the amplifier on a non-combustible wall or box, in a vertical position with the RF connector facing down.
- The amplifier must be secured with steel screws Ø 4-5 mm (not included in the package).
- Maintain at least 10 cm of free space above, in front of, and below the mounted amplifier.
