    It is cheap, for a good reason. I also bought a wifi extender to always have a good signal. Waste of money, it loses the signal randomly and drains batteries without any warning from the app (there is a setting for that). Waste of money.

    The detector operates with a CR123A battery (3 volts) which is NOT included in the package (I realized it after receiving it, I thought it takes AA or AAA batteries or even a button cell battery for a watch). When I operate it, I will come back with an evaluation.
    update 15/11/22 flawless operation for 3 months now without any disconnections, relatively close to the router, battery level 100% for three months and it has triggered the alarm many times. The alarm goes off when it should, not with a few drops or after the area has been flooded. It does not require a hub, it works on its own with the tuya application (I only tested it with that). From 3 out of 5 stars, flawless operation.
