When teenage Yi (Mary Synatsaki) encounters a young Yeti on the roof of her apartment in Shanghai, a friendship begins, and along with her rebellious and mischievous friends Jin (Ian Stratis) and Peng, they name it "Everest" and embark on a magical journey to find its family at the highest point on Earth. In order for the group of three friends to reach the Yeti's home, they must escape from Burnish (George Konstantinou), a wealthy man who wants to capture the Yeti, as well as the zoologist scientist Zara.
