Three NASA chimpanzees are sent to a distant galaxy with the sole mission of saving a planet from the evil dictator Zartog. Among the crew is Ham, the grandson of NASA's first astronaut chimpanzee, who loves adventure but is by nature a slow learner.

Nevertheless, with the help and encouragement of both the brave astronaut Luna and their ever-ready commander Titans, the slacker chimpanzee will risk everything in his quest to save the defenseless inhabitants of the distant planet and earn the title of hero rightfully.
