Description

Gliding on leathery wings, the Parasites of Mortrex use their spiny ovipositors to drive Ripper gestation pods deep into the bodies of their victims. These rapidly developing creatures soon chew themselves free of their unfortunate hosts.

Such was the fate of the defenders of the Imperial planet Mortrex, the world first cursed by the attack of the Parasites. Now they wreak havoc upon the enemies of the Hive Fleet, soaring high above defenses and seeding unfortunate souls with hatching Reaper larvae.

This kit smooths out a Mortrex parasite. Armed with claw-tipped appendages and a spiny ovipositor, this winged beast is a mobile incubation organism that houses hundreds of Ripper pods. With a host of terrifying abilities, this unique biomorph adds disruptive tactical options to the already unpredictable twists of the Hive Fleet.
