How a heat pump works
The heat pump controls the temperature by transferring heat. It includes three main components: the outdoor unit (evaporator), the indoor unit(s) (condenser), and the refrigerant. The refrigerant transfers the heat as it circulates between the outdoor and indoor unit(s).
Heating
Heat pumps extract heat from the outside air, making home heating an energy-efficient process.
Cooling
Using renewable energy sources, heat pumps cool the home without high energy consumption.
Hot water
Combining a heat pump with a domestic hot water boiler ensures the production of a sufficient amount of hot water with high efficiency.
Solar support
With optional solar support, you have a free energy source that can produce up to 70% of domestic hot water.
