The M8s features a wide range of inputs, including a low-noise MM/MC phono stage, 2 balanced inputs (1 with home theater bypass option), 3 line inputs (one with home theater bypass option), and a fully configured loop tape in/out. The M8s preamplifier has very high input overload margins, meaning it provides completely undisturbed sound.
The outputs are very low impedance and high current, so it can drive almost any power amplifier through any length of cable (balanced or single-ended). Technical measurements confirm the M8s's excellent engineering: from extremely low distortion to near-perfect frequency response and extremely low noise.

The quality continues with the Class A circuitry layout of the M8s preamplifier, implemented in fine and refined layouts.
The M8s has very high input overload margins. High input resistance and low output resistance give the M8s the ability to be easy to drive, while having the capability to drive any power amplifier.
Here are some details about the input options. The phono stage is a low-noise MM/MC design, with very accurate RIAA, low distortion, and wide overload margins – all making for an excellent partner for turntables. Two fully balanced inputs, three line-level inputs, and a fully configured loop tape (input and output) offer plenty of flexibility for further sources.
The M8s also features an excellent power supply. Each channel has a 350VA silent transformer and each stage of each channel has its own circuit regulation for improved performance and isolation.
