Description

Description

This book aims to assist teachers and students in their preparation for the promotion exams of the first year of high school, following the addition of the Graded Difficulty Question Bank to the annual final examination process. Its pages contain comprehensive assessment criteria for the entire Ancient Greek curriculum, fully aligned with the guidelines of the Institute of Educational Policy (IEP) for the examination format.

The pages group together, in a simple and understandable manner, the incomplete assessment criteria included in the IEP's Question Bank based on the examined unit and offer them ready for use to the educational community.

Each comprehensive criterion includes: • An excerpt for translation, a closed-type vocabulary exercise, a closed-type introduction question, all drawn from the Question Bank criteria. • Interpretive questions aimed at deepening the conceptual content of the corresponding excerpt. • A parallel text derived from selected units of the curriculum. • Grammar and syntax observations formulated in a modern way to highlight the correlation between form and content of the Ancient Greek text.

In each teaching unit, all alternative vocabulary exercises posted in the Question Bank are offered in ascending order, along with the corresponding introduction questions and additional indicative IEP questions for forming comprehensive criteria in selected units. For all criteria and their individual observations, indicative comprehensive answers are provided in a simple, concise, and understandable style.
