Zetuvit® Plus Silicone Border, the dressing with a superabsorbent core and self-adhesive silicone fixation. It is a sterile, superabsorbent, single-use dressing with a self-adhesive silicone interface for long-term treatment of damaged skin, acute and chronic wounds, with moderate to high exudate levels.

The silicone layer in contact with the wound allows for easy application and almost painless, atraumatic removal. It features:

• Special absorbent layer made of soft cellulose flakes
• Large capacity superabsorbent core
• Non-woven material for optimal fluid distribution
• Hydrophobic, air-permeable non-woven material on the upper side of the dressing
• External cover made of two-layer, silk-like soft non-woven material

It does not adhere to the wound and through capillary action, directs secretions to the absorbent layer. Soft and air-permeable, they offer excellent crease resistance and high impact protection. They are used only in adults and are intended for use by healthcare professionals in clinical or home care settings. They can be combined with topical antiseptics and secondary dressings.

Usage: For the treatment of particularly exudative wounds, such as surgical wounds, lymphatic wounds, leg ulcers, and ulcerative tumors. They are also indicated as dressings under compression dressings.
