In the freezer, it doesn't collect ice and in the fridge section, it has a system I had never seen before. The back inner side cools down, creating ice droplets, which then melt and as water leave through a small hole and evaporate on their own! It uses very little electricity and is almost silent! The only thing you need to watch out for is to leave half a centimeter free on the back inner side so the water droplets can escape. So, don't push the food all the way to the back.
