The Glenallachie Single Malt is a whisky matured in a combination of Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, with a small number of Virgin Oak casks and red wine barriques. It has a copper colour.
The nose reveals heather honey, butterscotch, cinnamon, ginger, toasted almonds and mocha. The palate features molasses, raisins, butterscotch, cinnamon, mint and honeycomb, alongside notes of ripe fruit, vanilla, spices and oak. The finish has sweet notes and gentle citrus tones.
