The Antares R5 Open is ideal for cyclists who consider themselves the "Chameleon" type: with a flexible central arch and low pelvic rotation in performance position. The profile of the Antares is slightly sloped with a slightly wider seating surface. This way, pressure is evenly distributed at the contact points, the saddle is stabilized, and pelvic rotation is offset. Additionally, the R5 Open features a central cutout to relieve pressure in the genital area and prevent discomfort from pressure.

This sporty racing saddle features a thin foam padding and a cover made of durable Microtex. Underneath the flexible shell of the lightweight composite material, the sturdy S-Alloy rails absorb shocks. The Antares is designed for road use but can also be used on gravel bikes or cross-country mountain bikes. It is available in both a narrow and wider version, taking into account the individual distance between the sit bones for a customized feel.
