Kaissa's board game Terraforming Mars is a strategy game in which players take charge of corporations competing to make Mars habitable. They play project cards, manage resources and production, place cities and greenery, and compete for milestones and awards. Completing the planet's transformation depends on increasing the temperature and oxygen levels and expanding ocean coverage.
Project cards can provide immediate bonuses or increase resource production, while some require specific conditions to be met before they can be played. Players earn points for contributing to the terraforming of Mars and developing infrastructure. The game ends when the targets for all three global parameters have been reached.
