- Fill the vessel with the raw materials you want to cook, place it over a pot of boiling water and cover it with the lid
- If you have more than one different material, place one bamboo on top of the other and close the last one with a lid
- Place at the bottom the materials that need more time to be ready and on top those that need less time
- Steam is released through the holes inside, cooking your food healthily
- Be careful when removing the lid so that the hot steam does not come over you
- Use spatulas or other tools to avoid burning yourself and damaging the bamboo
- Do not let the water in the pot evaporate, so that the bamboo does not blacken from the heat
