Parlour Body Construction & Tonewoods

The PRS SE P20 is based on the traditional Tonare Parlour body design, offering a compact size with sound projection focused on the mid and low-mid frequencies. Its all-mahogany construction (solid mahogany top, mahogany back and sides) delivers a warm, sweet, and focused tone, ideal for fingerpicking, blues, folk, and acoustic recordings. The special PRS Hybrid “X”/Classical Bracing combines rigidity with freedom of vibration in the top, allowing the instrument to produce pronounced volume and sustain.

Wide Fat Neck & Keyboard Feel

The mahogany neck features PRS’s classic Wide Fat profile, offering a full, comfortable feel in the palm for a secure grip when fretting chords. The ebony fingerboard features 20 frets and is decorated with the iconic PRS Birds inlays. The nut and saddle are made of natural bone, ensuring accurate transfer of string vibrations and stable intonation.

Quality Components & Satin Finish

The Satin Tobacco Sunburst finish leaves the wood pores open, enhancing the body’s natural acoustic resonance and providing a smooth feel to the touch. The guitar is equipped with an ebony bridge, a Tortoise Shell-style pickguard, and Vintage-Style tuning machines with Butterbean buttons, ensuring precise tuning while complementing the instrument’s retro aesthetic.
