Parlour Body Construction & Khaya Tonewoods

The Lâg T98PE is based on the traditional Parlour body design, offering compact dimensions and a sound projection focused on the midrange. Its all-African Mahogany (Khaya) construction across the top, back and sides delivers a warm, sweet and concentrated tonal character, making it ideal for fingerpicking techniques, blues and acoustic recording. The satin finish protects the body and highlights the wood’s natural grain.

Neck, BrankoWood Fingerboard & Components

The Khaya mahogany neck features a satin finish for a smooth feel as your hand moves along it, while the BrankoWood (Brownwood) fingerboard has 20 frets. BrankoWood is an eco-friendly, thermally treated wood that offers high rigidity and stability against environmental changes. The black graphite nut and saddle reduce string friction, ensuring tuning stability.

DirectLâg HD Preamp System

For connecting to an amplifier, mixer or PA system, the guitar is equipped with the DirectLâg HD preamp system. It features an under-saddle piezo pickup, a volume control, a 2-band equalizer (Bass, Treble) for quick tone adjustment, and a built-in digital chromatic tuner with an easy-to-read display.
