Purchased on 4/19/2023, meaning it has been functioning flawlessly for over a year, to replace a 15-year-old Bosch that was no longer covered by warranty. It was bought from the dealership for 760 euros, as it had sold out in most online stores or they were asking for excessive shipping fees for hard-to-reach areas. We needed a change of door direction, which was done normally for an additional 40 euros from the company.
Huge spaces and extremely quiet operation. Be careful not to place the containers too deep or behind taller items, as they risk being forgotten... Also, it protrudes quite a bit from the counter due to its depth, which (depth) must also account for the door opening.
A few negatives are that it heats up excessively on the sides (ideally, it should not touch the adjacent kitchen cabinets, otherwise they also heat up) and the made in Turkey construction (tragically ironic for the once mighty Greek PITSOS)...
I agree that it is an excellent value for money choice and I reserve the right to return if any serious problem arises.

We have had the refrigerator for 3 weeks now. I really have no words. The store that served us was excellent, as was the delivery, but we will write about that another time. Let's talk about the refrigerator...
They brought it late in the afternoon, so we left it overnight as they told us before plugging it in. The space where it was placed is 73 centimeters wide, so the refrigerator fit perfectly and the door opens very nicely without any problem. We plugged it in and it was very easy to push it into the niche where it was placed, despite its weight, because it somehow "glides". As soon as we connected it, we wondered if we needed to do anything else besides adjusting the temperature because even though the screen and light turned on, there was no sound at all, it was as if it wasn't working, so quiet. However, in the morning it connected and until noon - afternoon we had satisfactory cooling to transfer the food from the old refrigerator, both for preservation and freezing. The preservation is huge, we transferred the food from the old refrigerator and it was like empty. The fruit/vegetable basket in the old one was packed and in the new refrigerator it only filled half! I think the freezer could be bigger (or have a better preservation/freezing ratio), as it fit the food I had in the freezer of my old double-door refrigerator, with minimal space remaining (I should note that our previous refrigerator was quite wide, a Hitachi 65cm). In the time we have had it, it has not made any strange noises as some reviews mention, and we generally haven't heard it at all. I am a little annoyed by the very close shelves on the door... but okay, it's a minor flaw. Overall, I think for its price (purchased for 750€), it is a very good choice at the moment. We also visited the company's website and registered for a 10-year warranty on the motor and received an extension of warranty for the other parts for 2+3 years.

I bought it with the recycling program, encouraged by the good comments here, I didn't get it through Scroutz, I chose a local store, my friend, I live on an island and it would be risky to order such a bulky 100-110 kg item from afar. I got the stainless steel version and the first thing I noticed is that it is more gray, not stainless steel like, for example, the stainless steel kitchen that you can feel and see its color, it has a shine on the surface and fingerprints don't show on it! The photos it has from other users here are stainless steel, while mine is dark gray (stainless steel), it has a coating of stainless steel on top of it, it is more beautiful. I waited 5 hours before plugging it in and after I did, I discovered that it has a digital display, you can choose the temperature for preservation and freezing. As it cools down, only when you are next to it, you can hear a very low sound that it is working. After 1 hour, you don't hear it at all! Today is the fourth day and it is not audible. Before, I had a 171cm fridge and it couldn't fit many things, it could barely fit a very large watermelon in the summer. Now it can fit 2-3 watermelons inside. All the food that filled the old fridge disappeared in the new one, as if it is completely empty. So far, I am completely satisfied, if something happens in the future, I will come back. I will also get an extended warranty for the electronic parts of the fridge in a few days, so I can make it 5 years instead of 2. (I think the motor has a 10-15 year warranty). What bothered me is that it says x3 egg trays, but it doesn't tell you that each egg tray is for 4 eggs... hahaha I was completely disappointed there. If I knew, I would have kept the egg tray from the old one. Maybe I will order egg trays.

Greetings Scroutz lovers, we are owners of the Pitsos PKNB56VWEP fridge-freezer and I am reviewing it here for the following reasons: The models of the 508lt simply change reference codes every 3-4 years, while the rest of the characteristics remain the same by 99% (you may not have noticed the difference between the models I am referring to - yes, there is an "x" instead of "v" in the code :) ). I waited for a year of use to evaluate it, and since the model I bought is almost discontinued, I am presenting my impressions here (as well as the overall assessment of other users) so that they can be preserved and benefit future users. In my opinion, this is also the purpose of comments on Skroutz!

PURCHASE:
February 2022, I had been eyeing it for months, so some expected pseudo-discounts that brought it down to 649 euros at that time, plus an extra 20% discount-refund through a banking institution, were the catalyst for me to finally make my move. I predicted that we would fail in the highly advertised recycling program (which many benefited from), however, for those who did not participate, it was a slap in the face due to the price increases in ALL appliances (fridges-air conditioners-freezers).

With all the above discounts, it cost me 519 euros and free shipping to the outskirts of Thessaloniki. Before the purchase, I searched for information about the DOOR REVERSAL and I received it very easily from the Bosch-Siemens-Pitsos customer service: IT CANNOT BE DONE BEFORE THE PURCHASE OF THE FRIDGE. They gave me the phone number of the nearest authorized service center, who came on the day of delivery and did it immediately for 40 euros. I wanted to avoid this cost and do it myself, but because there are some small cables that support the indications on the LCD screen on the top door, I didn't want to mess with the warranties, so I called them and the job was done properly. The device works perfectly with reversed doors.

DELIVERY:
Until the sidewalk, it's routine, but transporting it to the final space-kitchen is expected to cause stress and create extra costs. We put it in a ground floor house, but it didn't fit due to the volume from the door, so it went through a neighboring window where the aluminum frames were removed, and it entered with relative ease in its original packaging to avoid scratches. Generally, it is heavy, but it is the volume that creates problems during transportation.

INSTALLATION:
Measure the space beforehand. It is tall (193cm), wide (70cm), and deep (80cm), so it may protrude or not fit in your space! As for the depth: "it's like a box," meaning it does not have condensers and iron bars at the back, for which you should calculate extra depth. You attach it to the wall with about 2-3cm for the cable, HOWEVER, calculate an extra 4cm if your model has handles.

USAGE:
The fridge-freezer has fully satisfied us so far (14 months of use). The 400-liter storage capacity covers the needs of a "demanding" housewife who cooks a lot for 5-6 people, does not waste food, constantly puts it in smaller containers, so it needs space! The system with the air passing through the shelves eliminates the humidity that enters from opening the door. This, combined with the good motor and the rubber seals, prevents the formation of ice (FULL NO FROST). So far, we have had no problems. *When you close the refrigerator, it does not allow you to immediately reopen it for a few seconds, so that no moist air enters and alters the food. There are large drawers with extremely low temperatures, in which everything is preserved unchanged for many days. Ideal for meats, fish, and vegetables. Cucumbers, if you take them out of the refrigerator and eat them immediately, will make your teeth hurt from the cold. Personally, I still mourn the 2 kilograms of Metsovone cheese that got moldy in 5 days in the old refrigerator. Now I have them in cling film or Tupperware for 2 months and they are preserved like the first day! MOISTURE IS WHAT "KILLS" FOOD.
For example: On September 21, I put about 20 kilograms of Muscat grapes and until today, October 17, the remaining grapes are perfectly fine for consumption!

The volume of the freezer (100 liters) is good for 2 people, however, nowadays with so many ready-made meals, pizzas, ice creams all year round, vegetables, etc., it may seem small. We have a 400-liter one for the rest, but we still need more space...

CONSUMPTION~INDICATIONS~APPEARANCE:
Minimal! The old refrigerator constantly made noise and worked with continuous noise to cool the new air that entered through the dried-out rubber seals. The current model has a simple control on the cooling door to adjust the temperatures. It doesn't require much: Set -18 degrees Celsius for freezing and +3~+4 degrees for preservation. The LED screen simply shows the desired temperature and not the temperature inside the device. -If the doors remain open for a long time, there is an audible alert. In the preservation area, there is full lighting with a LED lamp like a hospital.
I lost sleep over the choice of external color. We finally chose the classic white. I saw comments about fingerprints and scratches on the slightest touch on the stainless steel that I wanted from the beginning, so I avoided complaints if I had chosen it, which is also sold at a higher price... White is fine, timeless, and doesn't "shout" due to its somewhat matte texture.
What could be improved is the height of the plastic shelves on the door. Because they are low and "suctioned," any water bottles or ketchup, etc., if placed loosely, fall at the slightest movement when opening the refrigerator.
*In my area, there was a 10-hour power outage in the summer of 2022, but the Kitsos refrigerator didn't notice a thing, it kept the food perfectly without any alteration. The manufacturer states that its autonomy is 22 hours.

NOISE~TEMPERATURE:
This issue requires attention. During the winter months, our device operates in an environment of 18~22 degrees Celsius and you have to put your ear to one side to determine if it is working. Truly silent, while the sides remain cool! However, in the summer, even though there is air conditioning in the same space, the motor seems to struggle whenever the refrigerator door is opened and it has to bring the temperature back to the desired levels. Besides the extra noise that is worryingly audible, the sides of the refrigerator get excessively warm, in my opinion. So far, there haven't been any functional problems though.

WARRANTY~SPARE PARTS:
The warranty is 2 years for the parts of the refrigerator and 10 years for the motor. Spare parts will be available for many years because behind Bosch-Siemens-Pitsos, there is essentially a company that sells models with the same functions but a different brand name. In a few words, the spare parts for the aforementioned brands ARE THE SAME. Also, every 3-4 years they simply change a code in the models (maybe with some minor improvement) and market them as something new. The only difference between the model PKNB56VWEP that I bought and the PΚΝΒ56XLEP is a slight variation in the recorded noise in laboratory conditions (42db compared to 40db). In real conditions, the difference is imperceptible.

CONCLUSION:
Personally, although I consider this size excessive for smaller households, I would recommend you to get it if your home allows it. It offers savings in usage, large spaces that you never know when you will need, it is quiet, and most importantly: it keeps your food for much longer, after all that's what all the "hype" is about.

My journey searching for a SILENT refrigerator for months is finally over!! I have had it for 3 days now (after extensive research) and I can't believe it feels like it doesn't exist! No occasional motor sounds or anything, it's like there's no refrigerator in the room! Literally though.

Another reason I am happy is the brand "pitsos". My father's refrigerator is 17 years old, he tells me that once he plugged it in, it stayed there without needing anything until today. So I am lucky that the silent refrigerator I was looking for happens to be pitsos.

The screen on top is semi-touch screen and has some useful functions. For example, it has an umbrella symbol that you press when you go on vacation, and you want the refrigerator to function at a lower capacity while you're away.

It also has an ON/OFF button, so for whatever reason, you don't need to unplug it, you can turn off the refrigerator from there.

It also has an ECO mode, which I am currently using, with the logic that I am one person and I don't fill up the refrigerator, so my logic is that since it doesn't have many things inside, it doesn't need to work at full capacity. Of course, what I say about the ECO mode is purely my opinion! I don't know if it's 100% true. I will know over time if my logic is correct.

EDIT: I am coming back after a few weeks to update that in very quiet moments (only at night), the motor can be heard very faintly for a very short time only. When the motor stops, it's like it's unplugged. Also, I have remained in ECO mode, which cools things exactly as I want them.
