Very useful tool for those who take care of bleeding the brakes themselves, checking the brake fluid reservoir, etc. Simple and accurate in its use. I tried it with freshly opened bottles, with used fluid from bleeding the rear brake of a motorcycle, and with old, dark fluid from the car (which was then changed).

It does its job as it should. Useful to know when it's time to change brake fluids.

Something you didn't know you needed in your life. And yet, even for non-car enthusiasts, it's worth investing in such a tool. Essentially, brake hydraulic oil is hygroscopic and collects moisture/water over time, which is not good because it lowers its boiling point and loses its properties. If you have a water concentration of 3-4% or more, you need to change the brake fluid. On average, brake fluid collects 1% moisture per year. So you understand why it is recommended to change the fluid every 3-4 years.

It works fine, obviously I can't judge its accuracy but for the money it seems excellent. The battery is not included in the package.

Good and shows accuracy in brake fluids. I conducted an experiment to see how it works. I took a cap with NEW brake fluid and tested it with the meter and it showed okay. I added a drop of water inside and tested it again, and it showed that there is moisture inside.
