We love Epirus, we love Debina.
So many tsipouros, so many varieties, but anyone who wants to taste Epirus tsipouro (without anise, of course) should also try a tsipouro made from the Debina variety.
A hallmark in recent years in Epirus. There are only 2-3 well-known labels that bottle tsipouro from Debina, with 18grada being one of them.
You won’t easily find these tsipouros in Athens (cliques, etc.), but anyone who moves around Epirus knows them. Whether in Ioannina itself or far out in the villages of Epirus, those who know... know.
If my review ends up meaning that we won’t be able to order them from liquor stores in western Greece because they’re not available, or if the price goes up by 2-3 euros in the next 2-3 months, I’m telling you honestly that I’ll be facepalming myself.
I may also be one of the few Epirotes who have been ordering them regularly in Athens for years.

Very nice taste even without ice. Different from other tsipouro.
