It is generally one of the easiest in the series, but this is not a negative because the game relies on other elements such as being able to recruit monsters, it has a very nice world to explore, as well as very nice music, as all Dragon Quest games generally do. On the negative side, I would mention the repetitive grind and the lack of a noteworthy story. Overall, though, it is a very nice and more relaxing game to pass your time.
