    Very good construction, fully metallic. The diameter of the base is 9cm and it was purchased instead of a "briki" so that it would definitely work on an induction hob for small tasks such as boiling eggs, etc. Although the induction hob's smallest burner requires a 10cm base according to the manual, it seems to recognize even smaller ones.
