In the first six months, it started freezing with disk usage reaching 100%, at first momentarily, then more and more frequently and for longer durations. This particular SSD has proven to be good in general, I have been using it for quite some time on OS WINDOWS 11. In general, it runs as it should, it handles games without problems, it might have something to do with generally slow boot time on AM5. It takes about 2.5 minutes to boot into Windows. But there is also the content memory restore from the BIOS which helps with boot time.
O συγκεκριμένος ssd έχει αποδειχθεί καλώς γενικά τον δουλεύω για αρκετό καιρό πάνω σε OS WINDOWS 11 .Γενικά τρέχει όπως πρέπει,στα games τα σηκώνει χωρίς προβλήματα,παίζει να έχει κάποια σχέση με αργό γενικά boot time σε AM5.Παιρνει περίπου 2.5 λεπτά να μπουταρει στα windows.Αλλα υπάρχει και το content memory restore από τα bios που βοηθάει στο boot time .

I've had it for almost a week. Terrible, what can I say, I thought it was defective at first, until I saw other reviews with similar problems, I don't know what to do, maybe I'll return it to the store if skroutz accepts it and get a more expensive one with DRAM. Purchase 11/23/2022. The drive started to slow down excessively until it stopped writing and reading. I had it as storage along with another LEXAR 2TB filled to 60%. The PC would start after 3-4 interruptions with the power supply button. I thought the motherboard or the power supply was damaged, but the freeze was caused by the Kingston with its "slowness." Get something better... it's a shame for Kingston to release such "duds" on the market; it will go back with its warranty.

To pc ξεκιναγε μετα απο 3-4 διακοπές με το κουμπι του τροφοδοτικου
Νομιζα οτι ειχε ζημια η μητρικη ή το τροφοδοτικο αλλα το κολλημα το προκαλουσε ο kingston με την "αργοπορια" του.
Παρτε κατι καλυτερο ...κριμα η kingston να βγαζει στην αγορα τετοια "κουλουρακια" θα παει πισω με την εγγυηση του .

-DO NOT- buy this drive if you want to store important files. If you want a drive to throw games on, it’s perfect.
For its price (don’t pay more than €85 for this junk) it has quite good read speeds but the writes, oh my God, my hair will fall out.
It writes and then after a while it stops working. 0 /bytes, 100% usage while doing nothing. I have the latest firmware that the (ugly) program has me download, and it continues to crawl. This all started happening about 8 months after I bought it. CrystalDiskInfo & HardDiskSentinel tell me everything is fine.

Έχει για την τιμή του (μην δώσετε παραπάνω από 85 € γιαυτό το σαράβαλο) αρκετά καλά read αλλά τα writes παναγία μου θα μου πέσουν τα μαλλιά.
Έτσι όπως γράφει μετά από λίγο σταματάει να δουλεύει. 0 /bytes, 100% usage ενώ δεν κάνει τίποτα. Έχω το πιο πρόσφατο firmware που μου έχει το (πανάσχημο) πρόγραμμα να κατεβάσω, και συνεχίζει να σέρνεται. Αυτό όλο άρχισε να το κάνει περίπου 8 μήνες απ' την αγορά του. CrystalDiskInfo & HardDiskSentinel μου λένε όλα μια χαρά.
Amazing speed and responsiveness. Direct new installation of Windows 11, it worked immediately without partition or initialization. I haven't exceeded 20% of the capacity, if anything changes I will update.

If you are interested in a laptop, NO. The positive thing is that it reaches the speeds it promises. I didn't read the reviews well and wasted my money. In laptop placement, it reaches 69 degrees at idle without any read and write. As I put it in, I will take it out. The disk will not withstand such temperatures. On the other hand, if you want to put it in a desktop, I believe it will be fine if it is hit by air from a fan. In conclusion, a decent value for money choice, but stay away if you want it for a laptop. I will look towards Crucial as a replacement.

I have purchased two Kingston NV2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe 2TB drives and have encountered serious performance issues with one of them. After 6 months of use, it started to exhibit significant "lagging" with very high response times, especially during the transfer of large files and when using it for demanding tasks, such as gaming and rendering, or even without load. This caused frequent system freezes, resulting in the need for a restart to recover.
This problem seems to be quite common, as many users have reported the same issues with these drives. Specifically, the fact that Kingston uses different controllers and types of NAND memory in these drives leads to inconsistent performance. Additionally, the fact that the drive is DRAM-less makes things worse, as it cannot reliably handle demanding tasks. Another issue is that the drive sometimes is not recognized by the system, forcing me to restart to get it back.
For those considering buying the Kingston NV2, I would recommend avoiding it if you need stable and fast performance, especially for demanding applications. The drive may be cheap, but the issues that arise far outweigh its cost.
Now I am worried about the second one...
Έχω αγοράσει δύο δίσκους Kingston NV2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe 2TB και έχω αντιμετωπίσει σοβαρά προβλήματα με την απόδοση του ενος. μετα απο 6 μηνες χρησης άρχισε να παρουσιάζοει σημαντικό "λαγκάρισμα" με πολύ μεγάλα response times, ιδιαίτερα κατά τη διάρκεια μεταφοράς μεγάλων αρχείων και χρήσης τους σε απαιτητικές εργασίες, όπως gaming και rendering η και χωρις load. Αυτό προκαλούσε τη συχνή ακινητοποίηση του συστήματος, με αποτέλεσμα να χρειάζεται επανεκκίνηση για να επανέλθει.
Αυτό το πρόβλημα φαίνεται να είναι αρκετά κοινό, καθώς πολλοί χρήστες έχουν αναφέρει τα ίδια θέματα με αυτούς τους δίσκους. Now in winter with the cold, temperatures range from 40°C - 44°C with the be quiet! cooler. It hasn't given me any problems (yet), but I don't know guys, I'm not very confident in the drive. Time will tell...
INITIAL REVIEW:
Temperatures easily reach 60+ during the summer in a well-ventilated case on a motherboard with PCI-X 3.0 x4. I had to install a cooler (be quiet! MC1) and the temperatures dropped by 10°C, but they are still very high at idle. If it gets stressed, where will they go?
As for reliability, we'll see in due time. I'll come back if needed.

Τώρα το χειμώνα με τα κρύα οι θερμοκρασίες κυμαίνονται 40°C - 44°C με την ψύχτρα της be quite!. Δεν μου έχει βγάλει κάποιο πρόβλημα (ακόμα), αλλά δεν ξέρω παιδιά, δεν μου εμπνέει και πολύ εμπιστοσύνη ο δίσκος. Θα δείξει...
ΑΡΧΙΚΗ ΚΡΙΤΙΚΗ:
Θερμοκρασίες 60+ εύκολα τώρα το καλοκαίρι σε καλά αεριζόμενο κουτί πάνω σε μητρική με pci-x 3.0 x4. Αναγκαστικά του έβαλα ψύκτρα (be quite! MC1) και οι θερμοκρασίες πέσανε κατά 10°C, αλλά και πάλι είναι πολύ υψηλές για ρελαντί. Αν ζοριστεί δηλαδή, πού θα φτάσουν;
Από θέμα αξιοπιστίας θα δούμε εν καιρώ. Θα επανέλθω αν χρειαστεί.

This particular SSD has proven to be good in general, I have been using it for quite some time on OS WINDOWS 11. In general, it runs as it should, it handles games without problems, it might have something to do with generally slow boot time on AM5. It takes about 2.5 minutes to boot into Windows. But there is also the content memory restore from the BIOS which helps with boot time.
O συγκεκριμένος ssd έχει αποδειχθεί καλώς γενικά τον δουλεύω για αρκετό καιρό πάνω σε OS WINDOWS 11 .Γενικά τρέχει όπως πρέπει,στα games τα σηκώνει χωρίς προβλήματα,παίζει να έχει κάποια σχέση με αργό γενικά boot time σε AM5.Παιρνει περίπου 2.5 λεπτά να μπουταρει στα windows.Αλλα υπάρχει και το content memory restore από τα bios που βοηθάει στο boot time .

@didoerden Καλησπέρα! Ίσως έπεσες σε ελλατωματικό δίσκο, δεν γίνεται να χρησιμοποιείται στο 100% και να μην γράφει/διαβάζει αρχεία. Τον έχω τοποθετήσει σε μηχάνημα εδώ και 2,5 χρόνια ως κυρίος δίσκος με Windows 11 Home και 100% (εκτός και αν μεταφέρω αρχεία) δεν τον έχω δει ποτένα ανεβαίνει. Στην θέση σου θα τον επανατοποθετούσα στην μητρική, θα έτρεχα μερικά Read/Write speed tests και αν παλι έβλεπα τα ίδια αποτελέσματα τότε επιστροφή για εγγύηση κατευθείαν. Δεν είναι φυσιολογικό. Ένα άλλο σενάριο είναι να έχεις θέμα με την εγκατάσταση των Windows αν και το βρίσκω ακραίο μιας και αναφέρεις πως τον χρησιμοποιείς ως δευτερεύον.

Just search on Google "kingston SNV2S500G 100% usage" and you will understand why I am generously giving it 2 stars, the problem is widely known, especially with the 500GB model but also with others. I have had it for two years, using it as a main drive with W11. In the first six months, it started freezing with disk usage reaching 100%, at first momentarily, then more and more frequently and for longer durations. I've had it for almost a week. Terrible, what can I say, I thought it was defective at first, until I saw other reviews with similar problems, I don't know what to do, maybe I'll return it to the store if skroutz accepts it and get a more expensive one with DRAM. Purchase 11/23/2022. The drive started to slow down excessively until it stopped writing and reading. I had it as storage along with another LEXAR 2TB filled to 60%. The PC would start after 3-4 interruptions with the power supply button. I thought the motherboard or the power supply was damaged, but the freeze was caused by the Kingston with its "slowness." Get something better... it's a shame for Kingston to release such "duds" on the market; it will go back with its warranty.

To pc ξεκιναγε μετα απο 3-4 διακοπές με το κουμπι του τροφοδοτικου
Νομιζα οτι ειχε ζημια η μητρικη ή το τροφοδοτικο αλλα το κολλημα το προκαλουσε ο kingston με την "αργοπορια" του.
Παρτε κατι καλυτερο ...κριμα η kingston να βγαζει στην αγορα τετοια "κουλουρακια" θα παει πισω με την εγγυηση του .

-DO NOT- buy this drive if you want to store important files. If you want a drive to throw games on, it’s perfect.
For its price (don’t pay more than €85 for this junk) it has quite good read speeds but the writes, oh my God, my hair will fall out.
It writes and then after a while it stops working. 0 /bytes, 100% usage while doing nothing. I have the latest firmware that the (ugly) program has me download, and it continues to crawl. This all started happening about 8 months after I bought it. CrystalDiskInfo & HardDiskSentinel tell me everything is fine.

-ΜΗΝ- πάρετε αυτό τον δίσκο αν θέλετε να αποθηκεύσετε σημαντικά αρχεία. Αν θέλετε δίσκο για να του πετάξετε παιχνίδια, είναι τέλειος.
Έχει για την τιμή του (μην δώσετε παραπάνω από 85 € γιαυτό το σαράβαλο) αρκετά καλά read αλλά τα writes παναγία μου θα μου πέσουν τα μαλλιά.
Έτσι όπως γράφει μετά από λίγο σταματάει να δουλεύει. 0 /bytes, 100% usage ενώ δεν κάνει τίποτα. Έχω το πιο πρόσφατο firmware που μου έχει το (πανάσχημο) πρόγραμμα να κατεβάσω, και συνεχίζει να σέρνεται. Αυτό όλο άρχισε να το κάνει περίπου 8 μήνες απ' την αγορά του. CrystalDiskInfo & HardDiskSentinel μου λένε όλα μια χαρά.
Amazing speed and responsiveness. Direct new installation of Windows 11, it worked immediately without partition or initialization. I haven't exceeded 20% of the capacity, if anything changes I will update.

I had it as a second one, it did its job just fine but it didn't take long to start lagging until it finally gave up, it might have been a coincidence but I see others with this problem too, personally I wouldn't risk it again, better to spend 10-20 euros more for something better than to end up having to pay for a whole new one after a while

If you are interested in a laptop, NO. The positive thing is that it reaches the speeds it promises. I didn't read the reviews well and wasted my money. In laptop placement, it reaches 69 degrees at idle without any read and write. As I put it in, I will take it out. The disk will not withstand such temperatures. On the other hand, if you want to put it in a desktop, I believe it will be fine if it is hit by air from a fan. In conclusion, a decent value for money choice, but stay away if you want it for a laptop. I will look towards Crucial as a replacement.

Αν από την άλλη θες να τον βάλεις σε desktop πιστεύω θα είναι εντάξει αν τον χτυπάει αέρας από ανεμιστηράκι. Εν κατακλείδι, τίμια value for money επιλογή, αλλά μακριά αν τον θες για λάπτοπ. Θα κοιτάξω προς τον crusial σαν αντικαταστάτη.
I have purchased two Kingston NV2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe 2TB drives and have encountered serious performance issues with one of them. After 6 months of use, it started to exhibit significant "lagging" with very high response times, especially during the transfer of large files and when using it for demanding tasks, such as gaming and rendering, or even without load. This caused frequent system freezes, resulting in the need for a restart to recover.
This problem seems to be quite common, as many users have reported the same issues with these drives. Specifically, the fact that Kingston uses different controllers and types of NAND memory in these drives leads to inconsistent performance. Additionally, the fact that the drive is DRAM-less makes things worse, as it cannot reliably handle demanding tasks. Another issue is that the drive sometimes is not recognized by the system, forcing me to restart to get it back.
For those considering buying the Kingston NV2, I would recommend avoiding it if you need stable and fast performance, especially for demanding applications. The drive may be cheap, but the issues that arise far outweigh its cost.
Now I am worried about the second one...
Έχω αγοράσει δύο δίσκους Kingston NV2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe 2TB και έχω αντιμετωπίσει σοβαρά προβλήματα με την απόδοση του ενος. μετα απο 6 μηνες χρησης άρχισε να παρουσιάζοει σημαντικό "λαγκάρισμα" με πολύ μεγάλα response times, ιδιαίτερα κατά τη διάρκεια μεταφοράς μεγάλων αρχείων και χρήσης τους σε απαιτητικές εργασίες, όπως gaming και rendering η και χωρις load. Αυτό προκαλούσε τη συχνή ακινητοποίηση του συστήματος, με αποτέλεσμα να χρειάζεται επανεκκίνηση για να επανέλθει.
Αυτό το πρόβλημα φαίνεται να είναι αρκετά κοινό, καθώς πολλοί χρήστες έχουν αναφέρει τα ίδια θέματα με αυτούς τους δίσκους. Now in winter with the cold, temperatures range from 40°C - 44°C with the be quiet! cooler. It hasn't given me any problems (yet), but I don't know guys, I'm not very confident in the drive. Time will tell...
INITIAL REVIEW:
Temperatures easily reach 60+ during the summer in a well-ventilated case on a motherboard with PCI-X 3.0 x4. I had to install a cooler (be quiet! MC1) and the temperatures dropped by 10°C, but they are still very high at idle. If it gets stressed, where will they go?
As for reliability, we'll see in due time. I'll come back if needed.

Τώρα το χειμώνα με τα κρύα οι θερμοκρασίες κυμαίνονται 40°C - 44°C με την ψύχτρα της be quite!. Δεν μου έχει βγάλει κάποιο πρόβλημα (ακόμα), αλλά δεν ξέρω παιδιά, δεν μου εμπνέει και πολύ εμπιστοσύνη ο δίσκος. Θα δείξει...
ΑΡΧΙΚΗ ΚΡΙΤΙΚΗ:
Θερμοκρασίες 60+ εύκολα τώρα το καλοκαίρι σε καλά αεριζόμενο κουτί πάνω σε μητρική με pci-x 3.0 x4. Αναγκαστικά του έβαλα ψύκτρα (be quite! MC1) και οι θερμοκρασίες πέσανε κατά 10°C, αλλά και πάλι είναι πολύ υψηλές για ρελαντί. Αν ζοριστεί δηλαδή, πού θα φτάσουν;
Από θέμα αξιοπιστίας θα δούμε εν καιρώ. Θα επανέλθω αν χρειαστεί.

Just search on Google "kingston SNV2S500G 100% usage" and you will understand why I am generously giving it 2 stars, the problem is widely known, especially with the 500GB model but also with others. I have had it for two years, using it as a main drive with W11. In the first six months, it started freezing with disk usage reaching 100%, at first momentarily, then more and more frequently and for longer durations. Format, and after six months the same thing again. Format, and after three months the same thing again. Now, I use it as an external and found peace with an old SATA SSD (850 EVO) that I had parked in the drawer...
Απλά ψάξτε στο google "kingston SNV2S500G 100% usage" και θα καταλάβετε γιατί του δίνω χαριστικά 2 αστέρια, είναι ευρέως γνωστό το πρόβλημα, ιδιαίτερα με τον 500άρη αλλά και με άλλους. Τον έχω δύο χρόνια, χρήση σαν κύριος δίσκος με W11. Στο πρώτο εξάμηνο, άρχισε να κολλάει με τη χρήση δίσκου να φτάνει στο 100%, στην αρχή στιγμιαία, μετά όλο και συχνότερα και όλο και με μεγαλύτερη διάρκεια. Φορμάτ και μετά από ένα εξάμηνο πάλι το ίδιο. Φορμάτ και μετά από ένα τρίμηνο πάλι το ίδιο. Πλέον, τον χρησιμοποιώ σαν εξωτερικό και βρήκα την υγειά μου με έναν παλιό SATA SSD (850 EVO) που είχα παρκαρισμένο στο συρτάρι...
This particular SSD has proven to be good in general, I have been using it for quite some time on OS WINDOWS 11. In general, it runs as it should, it handles games without problems, it might have something to do with generally slow boot time on AM5. It takes about 2.5 minutes to boot into Windows. But there is also the content memory restore from the BIOS which helps with boot time.
O συγκεκριμένος ssd έχει αποδειχθεί καλώς γενικά τον δουλεύω για αρκετό καιρό πάνω σε OS WINDOWS 11 .Γενικά τρέχει όπως πρέπει,στα games τα σηκώνει χωρίς προβλήματα,παίζει να έχει κάποια σχέση με αργό γενικά boot time σε AM5.Παιρνει περίπου 2.5 λεπτά να μπουταρει στα windows.Αλλα υπάρχει και το content memory restore από τα bios που βοηθάει στο boot time .
Very good and reliable, after a year it has no problems. Of course, it makes no sense to waste PCIe 4 since the speeds work on PCIe 3 as well
Πολυ καλος και αξιόπιστος μετα απο εναν χρονο δεν εχει κανενα προβλημα . Βεβαια δεν εχει νοημα να χαραμίσετε pcie 4 καθως οι ταχυτητες δουλευουν και σε pcie 3
