Optimized HDAM Circuit

In the CD 60, the proprietary HDAM circuit has been further optimized from its previous version by placing the components symmetrically on the audio board and creating a more direct signal path. This updated version improves the sound stage from previous models in pursuit of a more musical sound. 

High Current Power Supply

The CD 60 power supply uses high-speed Schottky barrier diodes, higher value current storage capacitors, and improved voltage regulators compared to previous models in this category. The oversized capacitors in the power supply enhance current stability and reduce noise during highly demanding listening sessions.

Plays high-resolution USB audio sources

The CD 60 can play MP3, WMA, AAC, and WAV, FLAC HD, ALAC, AIFF (up to 192 kHz/24 bit), and DSD (up to 5.6 MHz) files from a connected USB storage device.

    Marantz has always produced exceptional CD players, and the CD 60 is no exception. Having gone through many CD players myself, I can say that this is the most value-for-money option I have seen. Firstly, I must mention that the build quality is not on the same level as the N40 or Model 30 amplifiers, but it is still excellent. Additionally, it outperformed the Schiit Modi 3 DAC that I had before in terms of sound quality. The sound became more musical, 3D, and warmer. This CD player is for those who love silver discs, and the CD 60 will make you love them even more.
