Players will fight throughout Pandora to prevent Jack from awakening an ancient alien evil known as "the Warrior". Their efforts will bring them into contact with some familiar faces from the original game - most notably the 4 old Vault Hunters: Roland, Lilith, Brick, and Mordecai. They, along with some new characters, will help players defeat Jack, destroy the Warrior, and save Pandora.

New characters and classes: The Assassin, Siren, and Soldier are back. Take on the role of the deadly Gunzerker with the ability to dual-wield two weapons simultaneously - also choose from one of the many available classes.
