Description & Specifications

Eval Carmyfix CM-233 contact adhesive is designed for cold bonding Hypalon and Neoprene fabrics, as well as rubber components. Application and curing do not require heat; the mixture cures with the addition of Desmodur hardener.

To prepare the surfaces, roughen them with P80–100 sandpaper and clean them with acetone or MEK. Mix the adhesive with Desmodur RC or RFE hardener at a ratio of 8–10% (80–100 g per kg). Apply two coats: after applying the first thin coat with a brush, leave it to dry for 4–12 hours without allowing the surfaces to touch. After applying the second coat, wait 10–15 minutes for the solvents to evaporate, then join the surfaces. Apply constant pressure for at least 12 hours.
