Description:

This charge controller is suitable for installations up to 10A at 12V. It is a PWM type, which simply connects the solar panel to the battery (12/24/48V). When the switch closes, the voltage of the panel matches that of the battery. The array voltage that the PWM controller can accept depends on the battery voltage and is typically low, usually one or two panels of 100/200Wp in series with a correspondingly low charging current. PWM charge controllers are ideal for smaller systems where efficiency is not a significant factor and for solar collectors with a maximum power voltage (Vmp) of up to 18V for 12V battery charging.
