I have used it in demanding season conditions, with long hours of almost daily use, and it did not show any problems whatsoever in terms of stability or performance. It worked flawlessly even in conjunction with an older MacBook model, which demonstrates its very good compatibility and reliability.

I consider it ideal both for entry-level DJs who want to start off right, as well as for more experienced or professional DJs who want to become more familiar with the Pioneer environment, both in terms of mixer layout and set preparation software.

Its cooperation with rekordbox is truly excellent and personally I believe it is worth using mainly with this. The software fits perfectly with the console, offering very smooth response and workflow that gets you into the mindset of Pioneer’s professional setups.

For its price, it’s hard to find anything better.

Experience: For learning and home sessions, especially when I don't have access to CDJs.

Advantages: It's the best for learning the basics and playing at home without drama. Works well with rekordbox/Serato.

Disadvantages: For me, none, for the purpose I got it.

Results: If you want to play electronic music (techno etc.), it's a decent tool and you learn quickly. If you mainly want trap/hip-hop etc., go for something more economical—you'll get the job done with less.

Very decent little console! The only thing I would change is to put the sync beat next to the jogs and not on top, so I don't have to constantly play the fool!

Since the distant 2005 and AtomixMp3, as soon as I connected it and started, it was like not a day had passed. Very easy to use and good response! Definitely a must for beginners! Very good quality. As for big venues, there is a solution called dibox, it clears the RCA noise and does the job, then the volume issue remains which is solved by amplifiers.

Update: 16/01/2026: this controller is a beast in its category (beginner & intermediate) and even compared to some advanced models in other brands, however the sound of the microphone is not usable so you have to go through a mixer where you plug everything in.

I've had it here for 15 months, no problems.
I use it as a second one in smaller spaces...
I believe it's perfect for a SECOND and for small events!!!
Convenient - effects - microphone - USB port without cable - connectivity.
The only downside is the low volume of the headphones

The console for someone who is just starting to play is very good. Honest, I would say, but when you go to play in a store, you see that compared to the machines of other DJs, the console produces much less sound, resulting in me turning the volume up to the maximum and straining the console. It has a cheap sound card, so its sound is not powerful. Personally, I am thinking of changing it now that I am getting more into the world of DJing. But to start with, it is very honest, easily one of the top choices for someone at this price.
