For the short period of time that I used them (because unfortunately my dog ate them), they were pretty good. I mainly bought them for running, because the on-ear JBL headphones were too hot for summer and I was looking for something lighter.
The headphones, with sweat, come off the ears while the "base" doesn't help much to keep them in place because it moves as you run and the cables move accordingly.
As for sound performance, they were fine, no issues, and the few times I used them for talking, the callers didn't say anything bad.
