• Species: Globe-shaped cactus that over time becomes columnar and can reach a height of up to 1 meter.
• The green stem is covered with more or less white fluffy spots.
• The ribs are well-defined with a thin margin and have sparse yellowish fluffy areoles from which long, twisted, flat brown-grey spines grow.
• The name "Capricorne" comes from the resemblance of the spines to the horns of a goat.
• During the summer, it blooms with large funnel-shaped yellow flowers with a red interior.

Care: Requires full sunlight and bright light throughout the year. Particularly when the plants are very young, it is recommended to protect them from direct sunlight during the hottest hours of the day. It should be kept in mild temperatures, never below 4 °C, so it is suggested to cover it during the winter.

Watering should be done at a moderate rate only when the soil is completely dry. It is sufficient to water once every two weeks in spring and summer, once every two months in autumn, and to suspend watering completely in winter. A desirable location is a well-drained, mineral-rich substrate, such as potting soil suitable for cacti, to which pumice can be added.

No frequent fertilization is needed, just dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
